Sinopse

A depressed town in the middle of nowhere. A cowed sixteen-year-old struggling to fit in at a new school. A plan for violent retribution against those who have made his life a misery.

But before Grover Tench can follow through with his vengeful intentions, his world is thrown into disarray thanks to a chance encounter with Kevin Zhu – private school kid, borderline genius, and unlike anyone he has ever met. Kevin favors creativity over carnage, brainpower over bloodshed, and he convinces Grover there might be a better way.

Together the two teenage outcasts will devise a strategy to fight back against their oppressors in a way that will have the whole world talking. They soon discover that with a little bit of ambition and a lot of ingenuity, there are no limits to what they can accomplish.

But can they really get away with something so audacious? Or are they in way over their heads?

Emotions are a terrible thing for serial killers to have.
Britney Cage’s emotions are getting in the way—of her friendships, of her relationship with the sexy cop she’s dating, of her plans to track and kill her next victim.
Florida’s most dangerous serial killer might have outsmarted the authorities for years, but she can’t escape the nagging desire to live something more closely resembling a normal life.
Unfortunately, that life will never come unless she can confess the truth of who she really is to those closest to her. Not much chance of that, though, with the police officer who’s steadily working his way into her heart. He’d either arrest her or shoot her on the spot if he ever found out.
Worse yet, it’s getting harder to tamp down her urge to kill. And that tug of war between her lust for blood and her need to come clean about it is threatening to tear her apart and land her on death row before she can figure out her next step.
In her fourth installment of the popular 13 Reasons for Murder series, author Amanda Byrd again draws back the veil on the dark inner turmoil driving the most lethal serial killer in Florida history.

The founder of Byrner, a global social media platform, Gerald Byrne is universally admired as a visionary, a philanthropist, and a devoted husband and father. And every person who gets in the way of his good work seems to die.

When a former student commits suicide, English professor and ex-spy Cameron Winter takes it upon himself to understand why. The young man was expelled from the university in an unfortunate episode that left Winter sympathetic to his plight; after a prolonged silence, he reached out to his teacher with two words just before taking the fatal plunge from the roof of his San Francisco apartment: "Help me."

Winter has what he calls "a strange habit of mind"—the ability to imagine himself into a crime scene, to reconstruct it mentally and play through various possible causes and outcomes to understand exactly what took place. When he applies this exercise to Adam Kemp's desperate final moments, he discovers a troubling inconsistency. And when he learns that Kemp was in a tumultuous relationship with Gerald Byrne's niece, he begins to suspect that the suicide was the result of a carefully-engineered plot, put in motion by the powerful businessman.
