A vast tale of interplanetary exploration, as Bordman visits Lani III—a glacier-land warmed by man, Xosa II—a shining desert made green by human ingenuity, and Loren II—an inferno of beasts, tamed by human science and daring. One of the classics of 1950s science fiction, featuring an introduction by John Betancourt.

What happens when two identical twin brothers, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the Atlantic? One finds himself in the heart of Missouri, USA, the other in the northwest of England. Worlds collide when Treeboar shows up unannounced at Terry’s front door—carrying far more than just his bags.
Northern Leets (a playful nod to the creator’s accent and the unique twist it gives to the word “lights”) is a fresh, transatlantic comedy packed with dry wit, sharp dialogue, and a clash of cultures.
From the chaos of New York City to the scorched summers of Missouri, McFadden and Treeboar have been locked in a battle of wits. Treeboar’s crafty intelligence has kept him one step ahead—but with McFadden finally closing in, the stakes have never been higher. Quick thinking is essential, but one wrong move could send everything spiralling.
This lively comedy is bursting with character, humour, and accents from across the globe. It’s clever, unpredictable, and guaranteed to keep audiences hooked as the story unfolds.
From Creator and Narrator Tom Molyneux
“This is my first project of this kind, and it’s been the perfect way to combine my love of accents with storytelling. My goal is to create something unique, entertaining, and worth sharing. Feedback is incredibly valuable—so please, get in touch or leave a review. I’d love to hear what you think.”

Second Childhood by Clifford D. Simak - Achieving immortality is only half of the problem. The other half is knowing how to live with it once it's been made possible—and inescapable!
    You did not die.
There was no normal way to die.
You lived as carelessly and as recklessly as you could and you hoped that you would be lucky and be accidentally killed.
You kept on living and you got tired of living.
"God, how tired a man can get of living!" Andrew Young said.
John Riggs, chairman of the immortality commission, cleared his throat.
"You realize," he said to Andrew Young, "that this petition is a highly irregular procedure to bring to our attention."
He picked up the sheaf of papers off the table and ruffled through them rapidly.
"There is no precedent," he added.
"I had hoped," said Andrew Young, "to establish precedent."
Commissioner Stanford said, "I must admit that you have made a good case, Ancestor Young. Yet you must realize that this commission has no possible jurisdiction over the life of any person, except to see that everyone is assured of all the benefits of immortality and to work out any kinks that may show up."
"I am well aware of that," answered Young, "and it seems to me that my case is one of the kinks you mention."
He stood silently, watching the faces of the members of the board. They are afraid, he thought. Every one of them. Afraid of the day they will face the thing I am facing now. They have sought an answer and there is no answer yet except the pitifully basic answer, the brutally fundamental answer that I have given them.
"My request is simple," he told them, calmly. "I have asked for permission to discontinue life."

James Hargrove is a math teacher who loves order, formulas, and the neat precision of his classroom. But when summer break arrives, James finds himself adrift in time and space, far from the structured world of equations he knows so well. Meanwhile, his wife Mei—a Chinese teacher with a love for poetry and pandas—embraces the season with passion, spending her days at the zoo, marveling at the simplicity and charm of her favorite black-and-white creatures.
In a dusty attic, James stumbles upon an old typewriter and unexpectedly discovers a new passion—writing. What begins as a whimsical hobby quickly evolves into The Algebraic Adventures of Archimedes Jones, a tale of a mathematician-turned-adventurer who uses his knowledge of equations to navigate magical worlds. As James pours his heart into creating realms where logic meets fantasy, he learns to let go of the rigid rules that once defined him, and to embrace the joy of imagination.
Mei becomes his greatest supporter, offering encouragement, inspiration, and plenty of suggestions—like adding a panda who knows calculus. Through their contrasting interests and shared love for each other’s passions, James and Mei discover new depths in their relationship. As his stories gain a small but devoted following, James learns that storytelling can be as powerful as teaching, and that sometimes, the most meaningful mysteries are those that can’t be solved with numbers alone.
Filled with warmth, humor, and a touch of romance, The Algebraic Adventures of Archimedes Jones is a heartwarming story about finding magic in the mundane, the beauty of contrasts, and the joy of embracing life’s unexpected adventures. It’s perfect for readers who believe that there’s room for whimsy in even the most practical lives, and that sometimes, the most profound equations are written not in chalk, but in love and laughter.
