Every Christian can live a more heroic faith. "Heroic Faith" is not a new concept describing biblical disciples. For more than two thousand years, heroes of the faith have endured terrible suffering as they dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ. They choose to obey the Lord daily in order to advance Christ and his kingdom at any cost, like Boun, who is willing to risk everything in order to have a copy of God's Word. What do biblical disciples, who possess a heroic faith, value and live out? How can our own faith be more heroic? In Heroic Faith, you will meet and be inspired by biblical disciples who exemplify the foundation of the fruit of a heroic faith. And as you read the stories of these persecuted Christian brothers and sisters and realize that we are knit together –united by the blood and lordship of Christ–you will be inspired by how they live with heroic faith.

Self-reflection and self-evaluation are two events that occur in every intelligible human being at certain point in life. In assessing ourselves we look for ways to approve or improve it for a better quality of life. Often times this self-assessment would focus solely on monetary acquisitions. Living our lives to the fullest is suitable to all mankind. It's a great objective to strive for while it's very important to assess our spiritual life from time to time and strengthen this beautiful relationship with the Lord, Jesus-Christ. This sacrificial death of Jesus happened only for one reason: To reconcile the world with the Master of the Universe. Our spiritual health depends greatly on our spiritual wealth for God is Spirit. The questions to ask to yourself are the followings: Can you testify about Jesus? And if so, Who do I say that He is? Amen. Kettly Hogu is a former Elementary school teacher who resides in the US. • He Speaks in the Silence - Finding Intimacy with God by Learning to Listen - cover

He Speaks in the Silence -...

He Speaks in the Silence is the story of Diane Comer’s search for the kind of intimacy with God every woman longs for. It is a story of trying to be a good girl, of following the rules, of longing for a satisfaction that eludes us.
Disappointed with all Diane had been told was supposed to fulfill her, she begged God in desperation to give her more.
And He did. But first He took her through a trial so debilitating it almost destroyed what little faith she had.
    He let her go deaf.
Like so many Christians, Diane thought she’d signed up for the “wonderful plan for your life” and deafness certainly didn’t fit her idea of a wonderful life. Yet in her brokenness, God met her and lifted her out of the pit of despair she was digging for herself. He lifted her onto the solid rock of real faith, and taught her to believe He is good even when life goes bad.
Using vivid parallels between her deafness and every woman’s struggle to hear God, this book reveals how Diane learned to listen to God, finding intimacy with her Savior and the soul deep satisfaction she longs for.
