Summary

In "A Tramp's Notebook," Morley Roberts artfully weaves together a tapestry of reflections on his experiences as a wanderer through early 20th-century Britain. The narrative, characterized by its candid prose and vivid imagery, captures both the minutiae of daily life and the profound philosophies that arise from a life lived on the margins of society. Roberts's keen observations on the transient nature of existence are punctuated by his encounters with a diverse array of characters, reflecting the broader social issues of an era marked by rapid change and uncertainty. Roberts, a novelist and biographer with a penchant for the avant-garde, found inspiration in his own extensive travels and encounters with the underbelly of society. An advocate for working-class rights, his immersion in the lives of the less fortunate informed his literary pursuits, leading to a distinctive voice that combined realism with introspection. Having navigated personal and financial struggles, Roberts's writing often reflects themes of resilience and the human spirit's desire for connection amidst adversity. This book is a compelling exploration of life on the fringes, and an essential read for anyone interested in social commentary through literature. Roberts's blend of narrative acuity and philosophical musings invites readers to empathize with the disaffected, making "A Tramp's Notebook" a thought-provoking addition to any literary collection.

A light-hearted look at royal life during the beginning of Queen Elizabeth the Second’s reign and the final days of Churchill’s prime ministership. How did two people from two different generations come to be such good friends?
This readable and relatable Churchill-Queen Elizabeth II book talks to the reader instead of lecturing them. The moment you become immersed in the first pages, you are transported back to what it must have felt like for a young queen to suddenly lose her father and have the elderly Churchill step in to guide, assist, and comfort her, and also tell a great many jokes along the way!
There is a reason why Sir Winston Churchill consistently tops the lists of greatest human beings of all time, and every time it happens it must warm Queen Elizabeth’s heart. Despite the 52 year age gap, the monarch and possibly the best Prime Minister Britain will ever have, cemented a friendship of a lifetime as they continued to bring the United Kingdom out of its post-war slump.
This book is not for history buffs, although it is historically accurate; it’s a book about friendship and how these two famous people found so much about which to talk and laugh about (with the occasional disagreement thrown in for good measure).
The more you read about Churchill and the Queen’s many interactions through the years, the more it is easy to see why theirs was not an unlikely friendship at all.
With dozens of interesting facts and never-before-noticed details and observations, not only is this book hard to put down and easy to read, but it also offers the reader a tiny glimpse into royal and parliamentary life in a post-world war Britain.
Finally, a history book about two fascinating people for fans of friendship everywhere!

In this explosive literary debut, Clayton Howard breaks his silence to reveal the untold story of his eight-year entanglement with music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and singer Cassie Ventura. As Combs' trial dominates headlines, Howard's haunting memoir offers an intimate counternarrative that challenges everything you think you know.
What began as a paid encounter at Manhattan's London Hotel in 2009 evolved into something far more complex—a web of desire, manipulation, and emotional dependency that defied easy categorization. Howard pulls back the curtain on the infamous "freak-offs," revealing not sensationalized tabloid fodder, but a raw exploration of power dynamics in the shadow of celebrity.
Through Howard's unflinching voice, both Diddy and Cassie emerge as flawed, multifaceted individuals navigating a world they created and were ultimately consumed by. Far from portraying Cassie as a passive victim, Howard presents her as an active participant in their toxic triangle—initiating, engaging, and complicating the narrative of abuse that has dominated media coverage.
From tender moments to terrifying encounters—including Cassie's overdose and Howard's own drugging—this memoir refuses to sanitize or sensationalize. Instead, it offers a meditation on consent, control, and the murky intersection of sex, money, and fame.
CASSIE is more than celebrity tell-all—it's a brutal examination of how power corrupts intimacy and how the truth is always more complicated than the headlines suggest. Howard's voice cuts through the noise with uncomfortable honesty, offering readers a chance to grapple with the moral ambiguities that define modern celebrity culture.
Raw, illuminating, and impossible to ignore.

If spiritual progress is your goal, then there is no substitute for the word of God. We have intertwined our divine prosperity with physical, financial, and sentimental achievements. We must follow that which is fundamental.
You do not need to know how to think or how to act. Success requires listening to the still small voice of God and following His instructions. What makes things happen is obedience to His Word.
When He asked me to write this, I became His author because He asked me to write what He did when I obeyed.
People asked me to write this book, but I said no, I did not want people to know me, but I wanted them to know the Lord.
One afternoon a friend came over and brought some of her friends I had never met.
I did not know that one of them was a prophetess, and as she began to pray for me, she prophesied that I would finish the book that I had started and that it would give glory to God.
Now, during that time, I was very sick. However, negative thoughts kept me from moving forward and the book forgot me.
So when the prophetess said that the book would give glory to God and not to me, it completely changed my mind.
Many things have also prevented you from moving forward because of the liar, Satan, I learned that fear, twisting the word of God, and telling us the opposite of what God wants for us is the mastermind technique of the devil.
What will result from your listening to God instead of the liar? All things are possible. If I can do it, so can you.
May this book lead you to God's higher plan for you to receive all the blessings that can only come from Him.
God is the Author and I am just the humble vessel, He even gave me the title, I did it His way. All glory to God!
