Summary

This is the first book in the series about Danni visiting a farm in Texas. It focusses on the beauty of nature, but also reminds us that nature can be dangerous. When Danni and her mother visited a farm in Texas, the eight-year-old girl had many adventures. She spent time in the field, enjoying the flowers and trees. After riding a pony, she fed the ducks and spent some time with other farm animals. The young girl enjoyed the fresh, healthy meals on the farm, but the wild storms scared her a little. When a hurricane approached, they all had to hide in the basement until it was safe.

Bombo and the Jealous Friend is a gentle bedtime story that helps prevent and softly handle one of the most common preschool challenges: jealousy between friends or siblings. With simple language and a calm pace, Bombo guides little ones—like Chirpy—from “mine, me first!” to sharing, turn-taking, empathy, and stronger friendship, supporting a more peaceful home routine.
If your child struggles to wait a turn, feels left out, or often says “It’s mine!”, this soothing listen offers kind words and parent-approved communication models that build listening, cooperation, and self-control. No lectures—just a short, reassuring narrative ideal for bedtime and for creating a steady evening routine.
    Why it works (ages 3–6):
    ·        Clear language, calm tone; SEL (social-emotional learning) made simple for toddlers and preschoolers.
    ·        Models sharing, turn-taking, respect for others, and gentle parenting.
    ·        Eases everyday conflicts; strengthens friendship and sibling bonds.
    ·        Perfect for quiet time, bedtime wind-down, and after-school calm.
A warm pick for families seeking calming stories that teach empathy, sharing, and social skills without stress.
