Synopsis

Noelle: By day, I sell stories in my bookstore. By night, I'm writing my own spicy romcoms. My books are my escape. 
 
In college, athletes were never my type. Not when the risk of letting someone that close always outweighs the reward. Which is why Dash Sterling, the hockey player who made lit class bearable, the guy whom I introduced to my then-best friend, was never even on my radar. 
 
Now, one spilled coffee, one ruined dress, and he's suddenly everywhere. And worse? He's looking at me like I’m the story he wants to write. 
 
Dash: I've been a goner for Noelle Pembrooke since the first day of lit class. She challenged me, made me laugh, and made me want more than I thought I deserved. But she never looked my way—not really. So, when she introduced me to her best friend, I let myself settle. A situationship, nothing real, nothing close to what I could have felt for her. 
 
Now we're both in New York, our lives colliding again, and this time, I'm not standing on the sidelines. Noelle may secretly write her spicy romance full of happy-ever-afters, but luckily for me, she still hasn't found hers.
