What if you woke up to find yourself dead, only to discover you were the victim of a calculated murder?
On Christmas Eve, wealthy businessman William Brenton retires to his room feeling indisposed, leaving a vibrant holiday party downstairs. He wakes not to the morning sun, but to the horrifying sight of his own lifeless body on the bed. Navigating the disorienting, invisible realm of the recently deceased, Brenton uncovers an even darker nightmare: he was poisoned with morphine, and his beloved, innocent wife Alice has been arrested for his murder.
Helpless to speak to the living, Brenton must ally with eccentric spirits from the world beyond—including a fiercely determined deceased Chicago journalist and the legendary French detective, Monsieur Lecocq. Together, this phantom investigative team must decipher the clues of the mortal world, untangle a web of jealousy and hidden revenge, and find the true killer before Alice is sent to the gallows.

DRAVEN: I've spent my life in darkness, hidden away from the world. It's where monsters belong after all, isn't it?
But my curvy maid, Dahlia, brings more than just order to my world. She brings me back to life and makes me want more. My beastly appearance doesn't scare her. Nothing does. Except, perhaps, the father she's running from. But I won't give her up for any man. This beauty is all mine.
DAHLIA: I spent my life fighting my strict father and his outdated opinions about right and wrong. Accepting a housekeeping job in another state is a way of proving I can stand on my own two feet.
The moment we meet, Draven's tail sweeps me off them and straight into his arms. I've never met anyone with more heart and humanity than the sexy, blue-haired giant.
In my father's eyes, Draven is a monster, not a man, but I'm determined to prove him wrong. This Bride is claiming her Beast.

Narrator: Jonathan Dunne
Original Publication: 1924

Description:
Wolfshead is a dark and visceral tale of lycanthropic horror set in the wild borderlands of French colonial Africa.
The story follows De Montour, a brooding and capable adventurer living on the fringes of civilization. Haunted by a terrible affliction, he carries a curse that sets him apart from other men — one that emerges beneath the full moon in a transformation both savage and uncontrollable. When a ruthless Arab slaver named Saheem seeks vengeance against him, De Montour’s hidden nature becomes the fulcrum upon which survival balances.
As tensions rise and the African night closes in, primal violence and supernatural terror intertwine. Howard blends relentless action with gothic horror, crafting a story where the beast within proves both a curse and a weapon.
First published in Weird Tales in 1924, Wolfshead was Robert E. Howard’s first professional sale, marking the beginning of the career of one of the most influential pulp writers of the twentieth century. In this early yet powerful tale, listeners will recognize Howard’s signature intensity — vivid atmosphere, raw physicality, and the thin line between civilization and savagery.
Narrated by Amazon bestselling horror author Jonathan Dunne, this performance captures the story’s ferocity, brooding tension, and supernatural dread, bringing Howard’s early masterpiece vividly to life.

An engaging supernatural mystery novel about family secrets, the price of vengeance, and learning to move on after loss. -- Clarion Reviews
Eerie, surprising, and profoundly emotional, The House on Tyner by Matthew O'Connell is a beautifully written ghost story with the structure of a mystery. A powerfully written ghost story that manages to be appealingly realistic, while also questioning the boundaries of the tangible world. Giving a poetic side to the enigmatic and haunted, the novel is unique in the paranormal genre. ★★★★½ -- Self-Publishing Review
5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to dislike about this novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery novel. My eyes were glued to the pages by the end of the book. The author included many plot twists and turns to keep readers engaged throughout the novel. As someone who often shies away from ghost stories due to cheesiness, I wholeheartedly recommend this book, as it is a decidedly realistic portrayal of the paranormal. -- OnlineBookClub
