Summary

A sequel to the Legend of the Cacique Princess: Karaya, now the Protector of Borikén, turns to Sofía in order to stop Kisilea once and for all. Though the two’s alliance is fragile, they know Kisilea has regained her powers and has become unstoppable. During their battle the three are taken back to Puerto Rico during its independence movement (El Grito de Lares). Now stuck in the year 1868, the three must find a way to put their differences behind them or the island’s timeline will cease to exist. During their journey they meet Karelma, a slave and rebel, who wants to assist them on their mission. The three must retrieve "The Heart of the Island" in order to restore their timeline and return home once and for all.
