Summary

This is a short story version of the ancient Greek mythology epic poem, 'The Odyssey' by Homer, about the adventures of a Greek warrior and king, on his ocean voyage home from the Trojan war, that should also be easier to understand. It tells the whole story, but is more centered around Odysseus' meeting with the Sirens and other supernatural and spiritual beings. The story itself still contains a level of violence, that would make it unsuitable for younger children, though anyone else can read it. All our short stories are originals. This is book 8 in our Traditional Mermaid Folk Stories Collection.
