DESCRIPTION:
My Blue Book of Grammar is a course that has been conceptualized and designed keeping in mind the increasingly dynamic role of the English language in today’s world. Especially in our country, where English serves as the lingua franca, a grammar course has to offer not only an exposition of the pedagogy but also the exhibition of the utility of that pedagogy. The aim of a grammar series should be to encourage the development of competency amongst learners, even though their proficiency levels may vary. While the level of exposure to English of all learners may be different, a grammar series should aid in the development of a certain level of confidence amongst the learners, with the end result being that they are able to converse without hesitation in English.

A concise, accessible overview of pragmatism, the most influential school of American philosophical thought.

Pragmatism, America's homegrown philosophy, has been a major intellectual movement for over a century. Unlike its rivals, it reaches well beyond the confines of philosophy into concerns and disciplines as diverse as religion, politics, science, and culture. In this concise, engagingly written overview, John R. Shook describes pragmatism's origins, concepts, and continuing global relevance and appeal. With attention to the movement's original thinkers—Charles Sanders Peirce, William James, John Dewey, and George Herbert Mead—as well as its contemporary proponents, he explains how pragmatism thinks about what is real, what can be known, and what minds are doing. And because of pragmatism's far-reaching impact, Shook shows how its views on reality, truth, knowledge, and cognition coordinate with its approaches to agency, sociality, human nature, and personhood.

“What happens after we die? What is the Afterlife really like? From her own perspective, Echo shares intimate insights that she has garnered from Spirit about life after death. This book is compelling, thought-provoking, and comforting.”—Chip Coffey, costar, Kindred SpiritsA Psychic's Exploration of Ghosts and How to Prevent It from Happening to You"Echo Bodine is the most genuine psychic I have ever worked with..." —Dennis William Hauck, author of Haunted PlacesWell-known psychic and ghost hunter, Echo Bodine, started seeing spirits as a young girl and has been helping to set them free for decades. Most of these spirits have one thing in common—unfinished business from their lives that leaves them restless, unable to let go and move on. Some souls choose to remain closer to this dimension rather than move into the light when they die. Here, Bodine shares her experiences and compelling investigations that have led her to see the issues from a spirit's living time on Earth which have left them restless and unable to cross over. Each story is accompanied by an exercise that will help the reader avoid the fate of a trapped, angry, or unprepared soul. Some reasons spirits haven't gone through the light include:They don't know they're dead. They are afraid of what could be waiting for them on the other side. They don't believe in an afterlife so they’re stuck in limbo. They are possessive over a person or object. They are terrified of change. How To Live a Happily Ever Afterlife is an eye-opening look at spirits—at what compels and holds them—and what you can do to avoid the same fate.

The idea for "Black Africa: An Illustrated History" was born out of a passion for telling the stories that have often been overlooked or misunderstood. We believe that history is more than just a series of events; it is the collective memory of humanity conceived from the experiences, struggles, and triumphs of countless individuals and communities. In creating this book, we have drawn from various sources, including archaeological findings, oral traditions, and historical documents. Our goal is to present a balanced and nuanced view of African history that acknowledges both the achievements and challenges faced by African peoples throughout the centuries. We are deeply grateful to the many scholars, researchers, and storytellers whose work has contributed to this book. Their dedication to preserving and sharing Africa's history has been an invaluable resource, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of them.
