Summary

My New Neighbor is a collection of gay erotic stories where virile men ignite desire in the most unexpected moments. Often silent, sometimes rough, they provoke tension, challenge, and longing with a glance, a touch, or a brush of skin. These stories are masculine, direct, and unflinching, grounded in realistic settings where passion explodes without apology.

The title story thrusts the reader into a late-summer afternoon that begins with an accidental encounter and leads to a secluded wooden cabin by a quiet lake. Two men, strangers yet drawn by unspoken desire, navigate the charged space between curiosity and surrender. Every look, every movement is loaded with anticipation, every touch a spark that ignites urgent need.

Here, eroticism is a language of glances, hands, and bodies, where what remains unspoken carries as much weight as what is acted upon. Desire lingers in the silence, echoing long after the last page is turned.
Available since: 09/04/2025.
Print length: 70 pages.

In order to transform our world, we must unite behind a new kind of civility. In a world that is more divided than ever, it will take a radical act to transform our discourse, our lives, and our world. International civility consultant and keynote speaker Shola Richards believes that unifying our world around the power of civility is that radical act, and it’s not for the faint of heart.Do we want a safer world to live in? Do we want less toxicity in our politics? Do we want a world free of hate and discrimination? Do we want to work in organizations that allow us to do our best work? Do we want our children to learn in schools that are kind and supportive? Do we want to live in a world that prioritizes our mental health and overall wellness? If your answers are “yes”, then we must steel ourselves for the reality that uniting around civility is the only path that will get us there. This deeply personal—and deeply practical—book will not shy away from addressing the challenging questions, such as, is it possible to remain civil when faced with polarization, intolerance, radicalized thinking, and abusive behavior? And if so, how? Civil Unity is not another book about turning the other cheek when faced with harmful or hateful behavior. This book will provide the tactics to disagree more effectively, bridge ideological divisions, actively prioritize our mental health, and fiercely create a more civil world that will sustain over time.

STRESS HAS BECOME A FACT OF LIFE for far too many people today. Until now, the treatment of stress has mostly focused on behavioral changes, combined with talking about and noticing every thought, feeling, and sensation. But according to the metacognitive approach, this excessive focus on the self is what actually creates the problem. Worrying and ruminating are not simply a symptom of stress, but the causes of stress, preventing stress sufferers from fostering real change. Real change can only occur when the metacognitive management systems underlying behaviour are addressed by focusing not on what, but on how stress sufferers respond to their thinking. The thought is not important, but how they react to it, makes the difference.
This book comprises concrete examples of how a course of metacognitive therapy can be planned. The reader is invited into the therapy room to learn: how to apply the exercises of this method; what to remember during the therapy process; and which questions are important to ask the client. Metacognitive therapy is a part of the third wave of cognitive behavioural therapies and has shown promising results for clients with depression and anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. This approach can also be helpful for stress sufferers. First and foremost, the client should learn that their thoughts do not create the problem, but, on the contrary, their response to them does. By applying metacognitive principles, the therapist or practitioner can help the client improve their cognitive management system at the metacognitive level, so that they can choose new and more effective strategies. The client has to reduce their worrying and ruminating before taking action on their actual problem.
