Summary

Uncompromising yet accessible, the six sequences in Changes and Chances explore love, sorrow, time, nature, and humanity. By turns passionate, hermetic, and heartbreaking, they simultaneously endure and celebrate all the imperfections of the world. Leonard Ng blends free verse with adaptations of both Western and Asian forms to create a musical poetry grounded in the traditions of both East and West.

'Yuh got a whole life beyond here. Dis is just one part of it. It is a brutal part, but it's just one part.'
Ty, Leroy and Daniel have signed up to a new Caribbean cooking group led by their occupational therapist, Naomi. Believing in the healing power of food, Naomi hopes to encourage the men to talk and share – but when you're locked in a secure hospital, too much food for thought can be a bad thing.
As the hospital is filled with the evocative smells and tastes of home, they must all face the truth about who they are, and what they've done.
Funny and affecting, Sophia Griffin's play After Sunday is a powerful examination of the intertwining lives of four people fighting for a better future. It was first produced by and performed at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, and the Bush Theatre, London, in 2025, directed by the Belgrade's Creative Director Corey Campbell.

This book is the last volume of "Kevin Goes to Japan." Now Yukio, Tomoko, and Yumiko have arrived in London. How could Yumiko talk to Kevin with her honest feeling toward him?
    1. London After 17 Years
    2. Yukio's Yukio's Nostalgic Memories
    3. It Is Like a Moth Flying into the Flame?
    4. Mature Woman
    5. Are You a Hetare?
    6. Jumping Off the Stage in Kiyomizu Temple
    7. Eternal Love
    8. The True Identity of Tomoko the Yandere
    9. Already Being a Domineering Husband?
135 JLPT sample questions and word lists come with the story.
This reading level is almost N1 level because the story goes towards an end, and I wanted to focus on more plots and how the characters feel. Also, the setting is in the UK, which makes word lists longer. Reading my book does not mean that you will be able to speak Japanese fluently, but I believe you will have improved your reading comprehension skills because I made it progressively more difficult from 1 to 4.
The paperback versions will be released soon to check the word lists and practice sample questions for some of you.
I hope you keep learning Japanese through the bilingual novel entitled "Parasite Man," a story about Yukio and Tomoko. (Kevin and Yumiko will be there, but not soon.) Five of Yukio's colleagues weave love stories where they want to be loved. Can they find true love? The first volume will be released in August/September 2022.
Thank you again, and good luck studying Japanese and reading bilingual novels.

A legendary voyage across storm-torn seas begins.

In The Odyssey — Books 1 & 2, Homer introduces one of the greatest epic journeys ever told. Filled with gods, fate, danger, and the longing for home, this timeless classic follows the aftermath of the Trojan War as the story of Odysseus and his uncertain return begins to unfold.

Blending mythological grandeur with deeply human emotion, these opening books establish the world of kings, warriors, restless gods, and perilous seas that define Homer’s enduring masterpiece. Themes of courage, loyalty, survival, and destiny resonate as powerfully today as they did thousands of years ago.

Beautifully narrated by William Johnston, this audiobook brings cinematic intensity and literary elegance to one of history’s most celebrated epics.
