She studied at Bath Spa University, gaining her history degree in 2008 and then went on to Southampton University to gain her teaching degree in 2009 and history master’s degree in 2011. Kirsty has been a member of the Society of Authors since 2025 and is still teaching history to teenagers in a school. Kirsty lives in Hampshire with one of her sisters and her cats.
