A mouse, a bird, and a sausage form an unlikely household—and for a time, their simple partnership brings comfort, order, and prosperity. Each has a task. Each plays a role. And all seems perfectly fair… until envy and dissatisfaction creep in.
In this darkly ironic fairy tale by Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm, a single decision to change the balance of labor sets off a chain of irreversible consequences. What begins as a quiet domestic fable becomes a sharp cautionary tale about trust, fairness, and the fragile structure of cooperation.
Narrated with clarity and restraint by Myriam Berger, The Mouse, The Bird, and the Sausage preserves the Grimm brothers’ original tone—whimsical on the surface, unsettling beneath—reminding listeners that even the smallest choices can undo the most comfortable arrangements.
This audiobook is Certified Human Voice™, verifying that the narration was performed entirely by a human narrator, with informed consent and clearly defined boundaries of use.

In a world lit by a single sun, where no one has ever known true darkness, legend tells of a colossal black wall stretching endlessly across the southern horizon. Shervane, heir to a noble house, grows obsessed with uncovering what lies beyond it. His journey—from youthful wonder to the edge of the unknown—culminates in an expedition that defies both reason and the laws of the cosmos. The Wall of Darkness captures that timeless Clarke fascination with human curiosity and the perilous price of discovery.
Arthur C. Clarke builds his tale with quiet majesty, turning a simple mystery into an elegant meditation on knowledge, isolation, and the geometry of the universe itself. What begins as a quest becomes revelation, as Clarke fuses emotional depth with scientific imagination in a story that remains one of his most haunting early masterpieces.
Arthur C. Clarke (1917–2008) was among the most visionary figures in twentieth-century science fiction—a writer, futurist, and scientific thinker whose influence reached far beyond literature. Author of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Childhood’s End, and Rendezvous with Rama, he envisioned satellites, space elevators, and the future of exploration long before they entered serious discussion. His stories reflect an awe for the universe’s vast design and for humanity’s restless desire to understand it.

JUPITER RISING – THE CELESTIAL CHRONICLES
    Book 2 of 6 The Centaur's Prophecy
This story is summarized as follows:
In The Centaur’s Prophecy, Dr. Minerva Voss deciphers a star-map leading to Enceladus, where the last Sagittari centaur, Chiron, reveals a dire truth: Jove imprisons Nyx, a void entity now breaking free. The Syndicate, led by Darius Kane, attacks, seeking to weaponize this power. Chiron imprints Minerva with celestial runes, showing her visions of a cosmic arrow—the only weapon capable of sealing Nyx. As the Library collapses, Minerva’s team escapes, pursued by Kane’s centaur-hybrid drones. The runes guide them toward the Horsehead Nebula, where the arrow is hidden. With the Syndicate closing in and Nyx’s corruption spreading, Minerva must master her new connection to the Sagittari or risk annihilation. The hunt for the arrow becomes a race against time, blending ancient mythology and interstellar warfare, setting the stage for a battle that will decide humanity’s fate.
This is the second of six audiobooks in the series, the next will become available in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this second instalment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added.
The story itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
