Summary

Is it right to cheat death, to cheat family – even for love? 
Two brothers, divergent in character, but unified by one love, embark on a journey neither is likely to return from. Struggling through the ravages of the final months of World War 2, both young men enlist to contribute their lives to save Imperial Japan.
