This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. Some stories are whispered. Hers roars from the shadows. Liv has mastered the art of pretending — pretending she’s okay, pretending she’s strong, pretending she can outrun the echoes of everything she’s survived. But silence has a way of catching up. From childhood scars buried beneath perfect smiles to the relationships that promised rescue but brought more ruin, Liv’s life is a tightrope walk between chaos and clarity. Each chapter unravels secrets too heavy to hold, choices too painful to forget, and a voice that’s fought too long to stay unheard. But this isn’t just a story of survival. It’s a mirror. A message. A map. When Silence Screams doesn’t just take you through Olivia’s journey — it walks beside your own. At the end of every chapter, powerful life lessons pull back the curtain on pain, healing, faith, and freedom. For every woman who’s ever questioned her worth, every girl who’s carried what she couldn’t name, this book becomes more than a memoir — it becomes a guide to coming home to yourself. This is not a story of tragedy. This is a story of becoming.Ver livro
The highly acclaimed Russian classic of twentieth-century theatre about a wealthy family unable to let go of the past or face the future. At the turn of the century, Russia is undergoing massive changes. Feudalism has ended, the middle class is growing, and the aristocracy are uncertain of their future . . . The cherry orchard on the Ranevskaya grounds is known throughout the country for its beauty, but it now sits on the brink of ruin. The entire estate is headed for auction if the family cannot pay off their debts. The land’s fate lies in the hands of the family’s matriarch, Madame Ranevskaya, recently returned from five years in Paris where she wasted away much of her fortunes. Neither Ranevskaya nor anyone else in her household can fathom the gravity of the situation. But a merchant, the son of a former serf on the land, has an idea . . . Written in 1903, The Cherry Orchard premiered in Moscow in 1904. It was Chekhov’s last play before his death that same year. Since then, the work has been translated and adapted into numerous languages and performed around the world.Ver livro
I spent years avoiding poetry, and what happens? Got me when I least expected it. Born after seeing a tv programme: Pushed by a need to escape from writing that epic. Reflexes to landscapes, skyscapes and flowers: Reflexes to music that stirs the beat. Dances: The first book in The Poetry Collections.Ver livro
'"O, Jesus bless us, he is born with teeth!" And so was I, which plainly signified That I should snarl and bite, play the dog.' Henry VI, Part 3 Christopher Marlowe – rockstar of Elizabethan theatre and notorious spy for the Crown – danger and seduction combined. William Shakespeare – jobbing actor and promising young playwright – dazzled by Marlowe, but with ambitions of his own. When the pair meet in the backroom of a pub to collaborate on a cycle of history plays, tensions rise as they navigate the perils of art under an oppressive regime, and flirt like young men with everything to lose… An explosively entertaining duel of wits, words and powerplay, Liz Duffy Adams's Born With Teeth is a playful and daring imagining of the relationship between two literary icons. The play was first performed in Houston, Texas, in 2022, where it won several major awards. In 2025, it received its European premiere at Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End, produced by Playful Productions, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Grain of Sand Productions, directed by RSC Co-Artistic Director Daniel Evans, and starring Ncuti Gatwa as Kit and Edward Bluemel as Will.Ver livro

This audiobook contains what I call my “Africanesque Folktales”. They appear in my audio and print book “Remembering Your Ancestral Fire” and are all original compositions of mine. My teacher, Grand Master Drummer Mamady Keïta said about them, quote: “Taylor’s folktales draw from his experiences with me and his times in Africa. They contain the stuff of folktales of old. They are a wonderful interpretation of African tradition.” All of my stories are sourced from my decades of study with the djembe, my teachers, especially Mamady Keïta, and my numerous times traveling to Guinea, West Africa. The names are based on a ctual people I’ve known or heard of; the places, on actual places. The sounds you hear in the village were field recordings I did when I was there. I have and continue to create these Africanesque folktales, but there is a trilogy I created that represent origin, duality and plurality, which are presented in this short audiobook.Ver livro
