George has needs, a lot of them, and so far, he hasn’t found a man who can meet them.
When muggers attack him, he gets help from Jack, a six-foot-four, built-like-a-tree lumberjack. That chance encounter leads to the hottest night George has ever had
But in the morning, he gets the surprise of his life. Jack might be a beast in bed, but he also has a nurturing side. A Daddy side.
George doesn’t need a Daddy, but he’s very interested in continuing to see Jack, so he agrees to experiment with him. Can’t hurt, right?
But what happens when two weeks later, Jack has a job to return to…and neither one of them wants to let go?
Dirty Hand is a high heat novella (25k words) featuring a boy who doesn’t think he needs a Daddy and a Daddy who’s finally met his match. With an age gap, plenty of steam, and a happily ever after, this is a quick, dirty, highly satisfying read. Please mind the trigger warning for assault and a homophobic slur in the first chapter.

    Body Horror - Capitalism Fear...

Whether for entertainment, under the guise of medicine, or to propel consumerism, heinous acts are perpetrated daily on women’s bodies. In Body Horror: Capitalism, Fear, Misogyny, Jokes, award-winning journalist Anne Elizabeth Moore catalogs the global toll of capitalism on our physical autonomy. Weaving together unflinching research and surprising humor, these essays range from investigative—probing the Cambodian garment industry, the history of menstrual products, or the gender biases of patent law—to uncomfortably intimate. Informed by her own navigation of several autoimmune diagnoses, Moore examines what it takes to seek care and community in the increasingly complicated, problematic, and disinterested US healthcare system.

A Lambda Literary Award finalist and a Chicago Review of Books Nonfiction Award shortlist title, Body Horror is “sharp, shocking, and darkly funny. . . . Brainy and historically informed, this collection is less a rallying cry or a bitter diatribe than a series of irreverent and ruthlessly accurate jabs at a culture that is slowly devouring us” (Publishers Weekly, starred review). Featuring an updated introduction and new essays, as well as illustrations by Xander Marro, this new edition of Body Horror is a fascinating, insightful portrait of the gore that encapsulates contemporary American politics.

"Can you share a room with Jesse tonight?"

    How could I say no?

What Greg and Cooper didn't know was Jesse and I met three years ago in Madrid. And when I finally hooked up with the handsome Navy SEAL, our night turned into a weekend of the best sex of my life. Jesse made me see stars twenty-four hours a day. We had a connection, but our timing wasn't right. He was going back to America, and I was headed back to Italy to play soccer.

It was all for the best, because I didn't do relationships. Especially with a man nine-years-older and the total opposite of me. But I never forgot him, even though I tried.

Fast forward three years later, and we find ourselves thrown back together again in Portland. I'm the new kicker for the Portland Pirates and Jesse Evans has reappeared in my life. And just as fate would have it, my dream hookup is Cooper's older brother, and he's moving his security firm to Portland.

Would he remember me? Did that weekend three years ago affect him as much as it did me? I guess time would tell when we shared that room in the Florida Keys.

    Contains mature themes.

An electrifying and vulnerable memoir that invites readers into an intimate conversation about our digital and physical selves, gender, and belonging.

In My Body Is Distant, Paige Maylott writes about her life — both virtual and IRL — as she explores her authentic self and sexuality through dream-like virtual worlds. While Paige dances in online BDSM clubs and hurls spells on virtual battlefields, she is swept into a fairy tale romance that pushes her into discovery mode: How can she transcend her carefully curated computer universe and manifest that happiness in the real world?

As she discovers the person she is meant to be, Paige contends with a cancer diagnosis and an imploding marriage while struggling to convert an online love story into reality. When a humiliation at work provides the necessary push to transition, Paige finds the freedom to explore her new self.

Part trans woman’s coming-out story and part heartfelt romance, My Body Is Distant follows Paige from a childhood obsession with the 1980s game Zork, through a health crisis and divorce, to, ultimately, an affirmation of authenticity and self-love.
