Beschreibung

In "Skyward Symphony," music isn't just an art form—it's the very essence of reality. Set in the breathtaking floating city of Harmonia, where buildings sway to cosmic rhythms and sound waves serve as transportation, this captivating tale follows Aria, a young prodigy with an astonishing gift.

Through her melodies, Aria can manipulate the fabric of reality itself, a talent that becomes crucial when she discovers an ancient instrument with world-altering potential. As Aria learns to harness the instrument's power, she uncovers a sinister plot threatening Harmonia's harmonious existence.

Joined by an unlikely duo—a tone-deaf inventor and a rhythm-sensitive AI—she must compose a symphony powerful enough to save her city from impending chaos. This mesmerizing journey explores creativity, collaboration, and the delicate balance between progress and tradition, all while immersing readers in a world where music and science intertwine in extraordinary ways.

"Skyward Symphony" offers a unique blend of urban fantasy and science fiction, creating a melodious adventure that will resonate with young adult readers and music lovers alike.

He has lost it all – his family, his health, his job. When life loses all meaning but revenge against your enemy, you can follow him even to another world from where you have no chance of returning. With nothing but uncertainty ahead.
Now he is a teenager who has been sold for debts to the school of Quan. The school is little different from a prison, and the hero’s status – from slavery.
There one is expected to work tirelessly and take tablets that cause addiction. Once you begin taking them, there is no escape from the place.
There are only two ways out – become a fighter and win a chance to achieve freedom by becoming a soldier of the Zhou family; or work to exhaustion until adulthood and be sent off to the silver mines, where few survive longer than three years.
Our hero’s body is weak, his status in the school low, and he has no friends. He would appear to be doomed, but the spirit of the one who finds himself in the boy’s body in pursuit of his enemy forces him to cling to life, to grow stronger and stronger instead of breaking. His memory cannot give him a complete answer as to who he is and what was in his past. But his recollection steadily returns, and his weak body is ready to grow strong through training with his teacher and through the abilities of the Chosen One. He is ready to challenge those who want to break him.
Now he is called Lei, which means Thunder. And he intends to rumble so loud that the one he seeks will hear him.
Martial arts, superpowers and a hero’s story of growth. The first of five books of an exciting progression fantasy tale in wuxia style. Read this new series, already a bestseller in its home country, now in English too!

We too often realize what we want only after it’s gone.
In 1906 Montreal, Elie Rutherford dreams not of marriage, but of science. She longs to join the groundbreaking physics lab led by her father, the legendary Ernest Rutherford, at McGill University. But in an era confines women to domestic roles and separate classrooms, Elie finds herself trapped by societal expectations. Determined to follow her passion, she refuses to accept a marriage proposal that could shackle her ambition forever.
A century later, in 2006, William Hertz, a brilliant graduate physics student at McGill, lives an introverted life immersed in the world of astrophysics with his fellow misfit physicists. Wounded by past experiences, he keeps love at arm's length—until a mysterious woman, lost in time, crashes into his life.
When Elie concludes a lab mishap has catapulted her into the future, she must hide her identity to survive. But as her path crosses with William's, their shared love for physics kindles an undeniable connection. Together, they set out to recreate the experiment that could send Elie back to her time. Torn between her past and a future she never imagined, Elie faces a heart-wrenching choice. Will she find her way back to 1906 or embrace a new destiny?
