Summary

The first three books in Julian Middleton's The Little Cemetery series, now available in one volume!

Little Cemetery: At Cemetery High, subjects for the new term include graveyard studies, ghost stories and deadly poisons. The Head wants a pint of blood from everybody and the teachers have turned into zombies. Meanwhile, someone has opened a used-coffin business on the high street and deep underground, a witch is planning something really nasty. It’s up to Tom Midd and Pete Night to save the day - and the entire town of Little Cemetery.

Return To Little Cemetery: School’s back in session and this term, classes at Grisley Manor include Eyeball Extraction, Nightmare Execution, and Advanced Grave Digging. When Tom and Pete stumble upon a thunderstorm grave-crawl and a talking pit in the cellar known as the Mouth of Hell, they realize something far worse than bad grades is brewing.

Halloween In Little Cemetery: It’s All Hallows’ Eve in Little Cemetery, and something strange is sprouting in the pumpkin patch. Tom Midd and Pete Night are up to their eyeballs in haunted vegetables, historical curses and one extremely unhinged mayor. To save the town, Tom and Pete must stop a cursed carnival and put an end to the mayor’s increasingly deranged holiday schemes.

Jamie Reardon has always heard that bad things come in threes. So after his cat, Mister, dies, his father leaves, and his aunt Sapphy has an accident that causes her memory to develop a skip, Jamie hopes his life will go back to being as normal as cornflakes. But unfortunately there's one more bad thing in store for Jamie -- something he'd give anything to be able to forget -- and this one leaves him feeling like a stranger to himself. Jamie tries in vain to find the magic trigger that will help Sapphy's memory jump the scratch, like the needle on her favorite Frank Sinatra record, but in the end it's Aunt Sapphy who, along with a curious girl named Audrey Krouch, helps Jamie unravel the mysteries of memory and jump the scratch in his own life.
Sarah Weeks's poignant characters and powerful prose come together in a story that is both heart wrenching and inspiring -- another gem from the award-winning author of So B. It.

*** 2021 Winner Gold Moonbeam Award: Best Chapter Book Series ***    Casey James, a fishing obsessed 14-year-old, loved any time he got to spend aboard the Orca II, his dad’s charter fishing boat. The beautiful coastal waters just south of San Francisco provided great fishing and adventure on every trip, especially when venturing to the Farallon Islands.     Each fall, the waters surrounding the Farallon Islands become populated with one of the most powerful and largest of animals, the great white shark. These sharks are extremely aggressive and hold the interest of many, especially Casey.     A late October fishing trip took an unexpected turn when the Orca II received an emergency SOS from the S.S. Atlantis. They rescued the crew just before the huge freighter sank to the dark depths of the Pacific. As the ship went down, a mystery began to surface. A long-protected secret...     Casey discovers that the dazzling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean hold a deep secret from the past. A 25-foot giant, great white shark and a surfing competition with a $500,000 grand prize just add to the chaos and mystery of the Monster of Farallon Island!    A shipwreck, a greedy billionaire, and a record-sized great white shark are about to invade Casey’s life. Who or what will survive? Can man and beast coexist in the Pacific Ocean?

Time is running out, and we won't get a second chance. Our planet, Mother Earth, is talking to us. At this point, she is imploring us to set things right, to stop defiling and polluting our home - the very planet we live on, along with all our earth-born companions. It has to stop, or life as we know it will change for the worse. It already is.
