Summary

What is the secret of Ben Cruachan, the hollow mountain that towers above the small village of Taynuilt in Argyll? Has it anything to do with a cat which disappeared from the riding school or the appearance of a stray pony?  
As a twelve year-old Jennifer Lindsay comes across the secret that will govern a part of her life well into her adulthood, only then will the mystery of Samantha, the cat, be solved for her broken-hearted owner, Alison, Jennifer’s cousin.
