Summary

Raised in a military family, Max Rossi learned at an early age that he was a fixer by nature. A person destined to step in and fix whatever needed fixing. Fix other people’s problems. After entering the military, his abilities were quickly recognized as special skills. Skills that were honed into fieldcraft mastery. For his country, as a special operative, he uses his skills to perform clandestine missions around the world. For his community, as a neighbor and friend, he uses his skills to gift favors. Favors to those who have fallen victim to the underlives and dregs of society. For his actions, sometimes there are consequences. Sometimes ghosts of favors past return seeking their pound of flesh. Max’s flesh to be exact. One night back at home, Max is ambushed by three unknown attackers seeking retribution for one such favor. After successfully warding off his attackers, the ante is upped. To lure him out, someone Max holds dear has been taken. His wife. Their error in judgement had been a mistake. It will be their last.
