Summary

In "Hortus Inclusus," John Ruskin blends poetic prose with artful observation, constructing a vivid tapestry that reflects his deep affinity for nature and the human spirit. This work serves as a contemplative exploration of a garden, symbolizing both a physical space and a metaphor for inner life. Influenced by Romantic ideals, Ruskin's lyrical style invites readers into a world rich with sensory detail and philosophical musings, punctuated by his keen aesthetic sensibilities. The book's narrative unfolds in a manner that intertwines art, morality, and personal reflection, creating a resonant dialogue between the natural environment and cultural commentary. John Ruskin (1819-1900), a prominent Victorian art critic, social thinker, and philanthropist, was deeply influenced by his experiences in the beautiful landscapes of England, as well as his studies of art and architecture. His dedication to social reform and appreciation of beauty is evident throughout his life's work, providing a profound context for "Hortus Inclusus." Ruskin's belief in the moral imperative of beauty is intricately woven into the fabric of this book, revealing his personal struggles, philosophical inquiries, and vision of a reconciled relationship between man and nature. This exquisite work is highly recommended for those intrigued by the intersections of art, nature, and philosophy. THE BEATLES
THE ULTIMATE TRIVIA AND CURIOUS FACTS COLLECTION

    CREATED BY TRIVIA HUB

The Beatles were a highly influential English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The core lineup consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Their music, rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock 'n' roll, evolved to include elements of classical music, traditional pop, folk, Indian music, psychedelia, and hard rock. They revolutionized the music industry with their innovative recording, songwriting, and artistic presentation. "Beatlemania" marked the beginning of their massive popularity. The band's final studio album, Abbey Road, was released in 1969, with their last performance together in the studio in August of that year. Despite their break-up in 1970, the Beatles' music continues to have a significant impact.

    CURIOUS FACT SAMPLES:

The Beatles' original name was The Quarrymen, a reference to their school song. The group was formed by John Lennon in 1956 with friends from Quarry Bank High School.

George Harrison was initially considered too young to join The Quarrymen. However, after persistent requests and a performance of "Raunchy" on a bus, he was enlisted as the lead guitarist.

The Beatles were contracted for a 3 ½-month residency in Hamburg, Germany, where the red light district was in full swing. The band's historian Mark Lewisohn noted that the flashing neon lights and scantily clad women were prominent in the area where they played.

Brian Epstein, a local record store owner and music columnist, discovered the Beatles at the Cavern Club. He was immediately impressed by their fresh sound and "star quality".

When life gives you lemons, run them over with your dirt bike!
After taking the year off to save up money and establish a more portable career, Tiffani Burkett was finally ready to get back on the road and finish her "Round The World" ride that she had started on her 2015 Yamaha FZ-07. Little did she know that getting rid of everything in January of 2020 would be one of the biggest mistakes of her life. Or perhaps one of the biggest opportunities.
With her plane grounded, international borders closed, and no home to quarantine in, Tiffani and her travel partner, Hollywood, turned their focus toward the American wilderness, rife with trails and challenges that would entertain even the most advanced dirt bike rider. But, there was just one issue: Despite over a decade of riding on roads and race tracks, Tiffani didn't know the first thing about riding off-road, and learning to ride dirt as an adult presents its own set of mental and physical challenges. But, if she wanted to ride across Siberia one day, it was about time to face her fear, anxiety, and self-doubts that had held her back for all these years by turning the summer into a dirt-bike boot camp.
With their old Chevy pickup, a Kawasaki KLX125, a Kawasaki KLX250, and a lot of hope, they set off to the Rocky Mountains to ride some of the greatest trails the USA has to offer, finding dinosaur bones, old mines, beautiful backdrops, and a whole lot of single track and stream crossings along the way.
Chronicles of a Motorcycle Gypsy: Dirt Bikes and Dinosaur Bones also includes a full gear list and bike builds for the aspiring dirt bike rider, with lots of pictures for every chapter!
