Summary

Allegra, a 27-year-old disheartened by the world of journalism, convinces her older brother, Dante, to join her in the bold venture of purchasing a melancholic café, with plans to modernize it and give it new life. During the renovations, the collapse of a basement wall reveals an incredible truth: the café was once a tavern and has existed continuously since the 12th century. Driven by curiosity, Allegra begins investigating the history of the place and encounters the lives of four adventurers who, over the centuries, found refuge within those walls. But the past and present are more connected than the siblings could have imagined, and they seem unaware of the approaching danger.
