As a small boy in 1944 New Orleans, one of my fondest memories is of my father telling me Uncle Remus stories before my Sunday nap time. His strong French/Cajun accent just made them more memorable and I would drift off to sleep seeing Br'er Rabbit and Br'er Bear in my dreams having all sorts of adventures. Thank you dad!
