Summary

All three books in 'Wyrd Of The Wolf', a series of historical fiction by John Broughton, now available in one volume!

Wyrd Of The Wolf: Among the upheaval of 7th century England, nobody is safe. Ealdorman Aelfhere believes that for his only daughter, sixteen-year-old Cynethryth, marriage to a Saxon king is the way to security. And so, against her own wishes, Cynethryth is betrothed. But when Cynethryth is taken prisoner by the warrior invaders, she is forced into the presence of another Saxon king, who would also have her for his wife. Allying against her father in a grisly war, she becomes a key element of events that continue to influence England today.

In The Name Of The Mother: It is 689 AD and Cynethryth is returning from Rome, carrying her dead husband's child. She soon gives birth to a son, Aethelheard, whose parentage alone places him in danger. After being adopted by the king, Aethelheard grows up in the dangerous company of rebellious princes, all who wish to overthrow the mighty Ine, king of Wessex. How will mother and son face the physical and spiritual battles that await them?

The Wyvern's End: It is AD 726 and King Ine of Wessex, tired of rebellion and internal strife, decides to leave his kingdom to someone younger and thus, the door open to contending rival factions. Among the men with a claim to the throne is Aethelheard, Caedwalla's son. To secure the throne he has to overcome other aethelings encouraged by the wayward nun, Wynflaed, engaged in a personal campaign of revenge with Aethelheard’s mother Cynethryth, Abbess of Wimborne. The Wyvern's End is an epic tale of faith, ambition, and treachery.

ADAM & EVE – Psychedelic Promise 1965 London
Book 3 of 6: The Psychedelic Dream
This third book of six is summarized as follows:
Summer 1966 finds Adam and Eve fully immersed in London's psychedelic underground. They return to a transformed Notting Hill flat, now shared with radical printmaker Sylvie and charismatic jazz musician Raj. As Eve discovers feminist poetry and Adam experiments with avant-garde collage art, their relationship strains under jealousy and artistic rivalry. A pivotal Timothy Leary lecture and experiences at the UFO Club amplify their personal revolutions, but also spark bitter arguments. Eve's incendiary poem becomes an underground manifesto while Adam's art grows increasingly abstract. The couple's tensions dissolve during a transcendent weekend at the Windsor Jazz counter culture festival, where music and collective energy reveal their shared purpose. Returning to London, they commit to a life of art and activism, their bond strengthened by newfound understanding.
The next book will become available in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this third instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes, called Electric Pulse, and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music, called Full Motion, ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added.
The book itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

From New York Times bestselling author Karin Slaughter, the first novel in her acclaimed Grant County Series.

So bloody sweet, I'll give you tooth decay.

Call off the search party, here I am. Candy Crystal is back for another round with my Gambler's Monarchs. And don't be mistaken, they are mine. All mine.

With the Monarchs fractured, I need to use my best moves to bring the whole biker gang back home. My best moves being reverse cowgirl, the upside down corkscrew, and the underestimated cupid's arrow. Unfortunately, my appeal doesn't stretch as far as the stray who has latched onto one of my men. A charming, cunning killer to be exact.

This house isn't big enough for the two of us. I'm a bitch who knows her way around a bone, so this slutty snake had better watch her back. Did I also mention she's trying to kill me? Unless Angus and I get to her first.

The Monarchs may be blind but I know an assassin when I see one. Some say I'm delusional, others use the term disturbingly obsessive. I prefer protective, and the Candy Crusher isn't my sole possession anymore. The claws are out, the game is on.

    Contains mature themes.

Murder—that's what photographer Allye Jessup knows she witnessed as she departed her studio one evening. Waking with bruises on her neck and a foggy memory, she believes she survived an attack, but everyone seems to think she simply sustained a head injury from falling down the stairs of her studio. Plagued by an undiagnosed health condition, she is torn between the haunting reality of what she may have seen and the possibility that her mind is playing tricks on her.

Without proof the other victim ever existed, Detective Eric Thornton can hardly declare the area a murder scene. Still, he adds Allye's report to his already full caseload. But when new evidence surfaces to support her claims, Eric must stay one step ahead of a ruthless killer and uncover the truth before the suspect closes in on Allye again.

Angela Carlisle once again presents cutting-edge romantic suspense laced with danger, deception, and justice.
