Summary

With the repairs to Kryter in development, Kaid, River, Aiden, and Jack are recovering in the nearby town of Rove. But that doesn't stop the serial killer known as the Raven from taking new victims. As the former lead detective on the case, River is determined to bring the killer down, no matter the cost.

With help from physicists, psychologists, biologists, MDs, chemists, former special forces, former FBI, a former homicide detective, and forensic technicians, this series is as scientifically sound as a science fiction graphic novel can be. Information about the science used can be found at the back of the book.

The Third Gate Part 1 is the first in the Amercian Isekai series. Some people found the first edition to be long from chapter to chapter. I reduced it and added some extra information in the book, but skill the same story. I this version is designed for the people that want a quick chapter before bed. Jacob Smith was killed in a freak accident in the first world. He is brought to a place called the Void. Where he is sent to a second world by an angel. The angel's job is to help build him up as he gains abilities and grows strong enough to defeat the Demon Lord. A being that is works from the shadows and has his evil presence in everything in the world. Due to some scenes listener discretion is advised.

This fully sound designed program is read by Joe PeraA Bathroom Book for People Not Pooping or Peeing But Using the Bathroom as an Escape by Joe Pera is a funny, warm, and sincere guide to regaining calm and confidence when you're hiding in the bathroom.Joe Pera goes to the bathroom a lot. And his friend, Joe Bennett, does too. They both have small bladders but more often it’s just to get a moment of quiet, a break from work, or because it’s the only way they know how to politely end conversations. So they created a functional meditative guide to help people who suffer from social anxiety and deal with it in this very particular way. Although, it’s a comedic audiobook, the goal is to help these listeners:1. Relax2. Recharge3. Rejoin the world outside of the bathroomIt’s also fun entertainment for people simply hiding in the bathroom to avoid doing work.A Bathroom Book for People Not Pooping or Peeing But Using the Bathroom as an Escape is for anxious listeners looking to feel calm, confident, and less alone.A Macmillan Audio production from Forge Books“Nothing says ‘class’ to your dinner guests more than a Joe Pera book next to the can.” —Seth Meyers“A beautiful and funny book about something I have done all my life. Victor Spoil comes from a long line of famous supervillains and he's fully expected to join their ranks one day. But to his family's utter disappointment, Victor doesn't have a single bad-guy bone in his body. He won't run with scissors, he always finishes his peas, and he can't stand to be messy. Hopeless! As a last-ditch effort before they give up and let him be a--gasp!--civilian, Victor's exasperated parents send him to apprentice under a disgraced supervillain called The Smear. This matchup starts off as a complete disaster, but Victor and The Smear eventually find that they have a lot to learn from each other. When the stakes get high as Victor is forced to choose between his mentor and his family morals (or lack thereof)...what will the world's nicest bad guy do?In this rollicking middle-grade adventure, Michael Fry's witty text and hysterical artwork combines superhero action with classic fish-out-of-water humor.
