Veronica’s dire warning awoke the pain slut within Ivone. She could take a
lot of pain. Oh, not knives or burning, although wax was okay if the Dom
knew what he was doing, but if he was good with a single or double tail,
she would bleed for him. She’d simply contract that he whip her only on
her lower back and buttocks, maybe the tops of her thighs. Those parts
she could cover in public with clothing. She wondered for a moment if he
shared his submissives with other Doms. She had yet to really give up that
part of her. Being handed off at her Dom’s discretion wasn’t something she
really wanted to do, although she had done a couple of threesomes, and
the sex had been very good, probably because she had been dominated.
And if he were a real Dom, he would learn that being shared wasn’t what
she really needed. She obediently followed Veronica to where this
Jamison Landry was slouched comfortably in a leather club chair. She kept
her eyes cast toward the floor, but noticed his thick black hair and
forbidding handsomeness. His eyes were hooded and in shadow, and she
wondered what color they were. She had the impression of a large, hard
body, and now, within view of her downcast eyes, she could see his

Livvy doesn’t know it, but she’s about to have an extraordinary morning. Twelve very unusual visitors have turned up in her bedroom...... Unicorns!
How magical, you say. Well, yes - if only they didn’t announce themselves in such a distinctly unmagical way…
Sure, the puffs of glitter are very pretty, but unicorn farts are as stinky as anyone else’s – maybe even worse. And their wild behaviour is another problem; these unicorns want to party! Before very long, they’ve created complete chaos in Livvy’s room with their prancing and dancing, cheering and rearing, twirling and twerking and tooting!
Floss, Duke, Fancy, Priscilla, Kevin, Lancelot and their friends don’t see the problem; they’re only fun-loving unicorns, after all. But the clock is ticking, and in just a few minutes Livvy’s mother is coming to check that she’s tidied her room before school.
Written in musical, inventive rhyme, this highly engaging illustrated storybook will get any early reader giggling at these loveable unicorn antics. With a sprinkling of sparkles and a big helping of humour, the magical mayhem will entrance 5- to 8-year-olds everywhere.
Find out how Livvy deals with her unicorn invasion. Bring your own glitter!

2017 Illumination Book Award winner. Five hundred years ago, a monk named Martin Luther wrote ninety-five questions, hoping to start a discussion about sin and repentance at the University of Wittenberg in Germany. In a few months those questions had stirred the nation; a few years later, the continent. Today we know that those questions changed the course of both the Western church and world history. In this volume for children, Simonetta Carr tells the compelling story of this father of the Protestant Reformation, tracing his quest for peace with God, his lifelong heroic stand for God's truth, and his family life and numerous accomplishments. The Reformer's greatest accomplishment, she writes, 'has been his uncompromising emphasis on the free promise of the gospel.' Table of Contents: Introduction 1. From Law Student to Monk 2. Looking for Peace with God 3. A Powerful List 4. A Reluctant Rebel 5. Starting a Reformation 6. Raising a Family 7. Ready to Die in the Lord Time Line Did You Know? Series Description The Christian Biographies for Young Readers introduces children to important people in the Christian tradition. Parents and school teachers alike will welcome the excellent educational value it provides for students, while the quality of the publication and the artwork make each volume a keepsake for generations to come. Furthermore, the books in the series go beyond the simple story of someone's life by teaching young readers the historical and theological relevance of each character.

Twelve-year-old Garnet doesn’t know her family. Her mother has done her best to keep it that way, living far from the rest of the magical Carrefour clan and their legendary mansion known as Crossroad House.

But when Garnet finally gets summoned to the estate, it isn’t quite what she hoped for. Her relatives are strange and quarrelsome, each room in Crossroad House is more dilapidated than the last, and she can’t keep straight which dusty hallways and cobwebbed corners are forbidden.

And then she learns a terrifying secret: the dying Carrefour patriarch fights to retain his life by stealing power from the others. Every household accident that isn’t an accident, every unexpected illness and unexplained disappearance grants him a little more time.

While the Carrefours squabble over who will inherit his role when (if) he dies, Garnet encounters evidence of an even deeper curse. Was she brought to Crossroad House as part of the curse … or is she meant to break it?
