Summary

After an untimely death, a Shinto exorcist finds herself reincarnated into another world as Miss Nicola von Weber. And that’s just the start of her troubles.

On Nicola’s first day at a new school, she’s reunited with her childhood friend Sieghart. He’s now a handsome marquess who acts like a spoiled child around her, and wherever he goes, strange incidents follow. You see, Sieghart’s beauty attracts both people and...otherworldly admirers. Nicola thus has to put her homework aside and use her skills as an exorcist to save him—all while trying to avoid his inevitable proposal, for Sieghart once swore he’d never marry anyone but her. And so Nicola’s hectic, haunted life continues with a splash of romance, which she almost finds more annoying than the ghosts. All Nicola wants is normalcy, and this is the story of how she’ll (try to) get it.

When master thief–turned–Special Corps agent Slippery Jim diGriz uncovers blueprints that perfectly match the long-extinct Warlord-class battleships, he realizes the galaxy faces a threat no one else has even noticed. A planet that should have no interest in war is secretly building the most devastating ship ever conceived — and no one in power seems to know why.
Determined to uncover the truth, diGriz burrows through layers of forged orders, bribed officials, falsified records, and one staggeringly bold deception. But when the completed battleship vanishes and innocent ships begin turning up as drifting wreckage, diGriz is forced into a deadly pursuit against a criminal mind whose ambition is matched only by their audacity. The chase leads to betrayal, manipulation, and a reveal that even diGriz’s nimble instincts never anticipated.
Harry Harrison (1925–2012) was a legendary name in science fiction, celebrated for his sharp wit, inventive plots, and breakneck pacing. A veteran illustrator turned writer, Harrison developed a distinct style built on clever twists, cleverer heroes, and a playful disregard for authority — themes showcased brilliantly in the Stainless Steel Rat adventures.
Known for classics like Make Room! Make Room! (the basis for Soylent Green), Deathworld, and Bill, the Galactic Hero, Harrison blended humor, adventure, and social commentary in ways few writers matched. His work continues to influence sci-fi storytellers across books, comics, radio, and film.

He That Hath Wings is a powerful science fiction tale about a child born with an impossible difference—wings. Raised in secrecy and watched by science, David Rand grows from an extraordinary infant into a young man who discovers the pure, intoxicating freedom of flight.
As the world becomes aware of him, David must navigate curiosity, fear, and fascination from those who cannot understand what he is—or what he represents. His wings are not just a physical marvel but a symbol of escape, independence, and the deep human desire to belong.
Edmond Hamilton tells this story with lyric intensity, blending early genetic speculation with timeless emotional conflict. The story explores the tension between civilization and instinct, conformity and freedom, love and identity.
Hamilton was one of the defining voices of early science fiction. Writing during the Golden Age, he helped shape modern space opera and speculative storytelling with works that emphasized wonder, momentum, and human consequence. His stories often ask not what science can do, but what it costs.
