~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
It was afternoon on a funny, warm Saturday as Jane was sitting on the sofa in her mini-skirt and tie-in-the-front blouse awaiting her guests. They had followed each other in separate cars and arrived at the same time. Jane ushered them into the family room and was pleased to see all six guests appropriately attired, the handsome men in brief-like swimming trunks and the sexy women in thong bikinis.
After handshakes and hugs around, Jane invited everyone to relax while she served cocktails of white wine and/or beer as requested. Jane had shed her bikini as she was serving the cocktails. The guests were pleasantly surprised to see all of Jane's beautiful naked body.
After two rounds of cocktails, Amanda took the floor. “I'm delighted to see all of you here and I am pleased that our hostess, Jane, is sharing her house for the sacred gathering. Here's what's happening. Everybody will get a chance to make love to everybody, but first let's start with designated partners at my suggestion. I, Amanda, will give up my boyfriend, George, to my daughter, Diane. Then I'm asking my friend and lover, Martha, to lend me her husband, Daniel. That's four beautiful persons. To make it a divine seven, my son, Donald, Jane, and Martha may engage in a ménage à trois. Do we all agree?”
There was a chorus of applause and whistles.  Jane then voiced out, “Since I'm your hostess, I suggest we all grab our partners for a dance in the nude. C'mon, shed that scanty swimwear and rock to the music. Let's see some bouncing breasts and swinging cocks.” There were more whistles. They cleared the center of the family room to make room for dancing. Jane put a CD playlist on her stereo that include well-known rock classics and contemporary upbeat rock tunes. While everyone was undressing, Donald was the first person to be naked and on the dance floor, ready to show off his talent with some solo circling and fancy dance moves disco-tech style. Seeing that his partners Martha and Jane were now in the nude, he gave them the come-hither sign. As they approached him, he first took Martha by the hand, kissed her on the lips, and did a twirl and a dip. Donald's other partner, Jane, was excited by the fancy moves in the nude, and also received a kiss on the lips followed by a twirl that landed her into his arms. The threesome made compatible dance partners. The two other couples were impressed and joined them on the makeshift dance floor. George offered his hand to Diane while Daniel did likewise to Amanda.
After about thirty minutes of upbeat dancing, mellow music was heard. Martha had one arm around Diane's waist and one around Donald's waist. Diane was likewise positioned on the other side of Martha and Donald. The beauty of their bodies and dance moves were picturesque. Diane put her arms around George's neck while he held her waist as they waltzed in an embrace. Daniel and Amanda did likewise. After a few moments of enjoyable waltzing, Amanda said, “Mom has given you, her true love, to me many times and we have had wonderful sex together. I feel that it comes from her heart, and I thank her for it. Tonight you are my lover, and let's see if we can make this the best one ever.”
“I feel exactly the same way as you feel and yes, we will make it the best time of love ever.”
    A surprising window into the online lives of people sixty and over—offering essential insights, no matter your age.
    Many popular accounts say the older you are, the greater your tech struggles. And it’s worrying to think of loved ones emailing cringe-worthy misinformation, falling for phishing attacks, or becoming lonelier with increasing time spent online.
    But in their eye-opening book on the internet’s fastest-growing demographic, researchers Eszter Hargittai and John Palfrey offer a more nuanced picture—debunking common myths about older adults’ internet use to offer hope and a necessary call to action. Incorporating original interviews and survey results from thousands of people sixty and over, Wired Wisdom shows that many, in fact, use technology in ways that put younger peers to shame. Over-sixties are often nimble online and quicker to abandon social media platforms that don’t meet their needs. Despite being targeted more often, they also may be less likely to fall for scams than younger peers. And fake news actually fools fewer people over sixty, who have far more experience evaluating sources and detecting propaganda. Still, there are unseen risks and missed opportunities for this group. Hargittai and Palfrey offer practical advice and show that our stereotypes can be hurdles that keep us from building intergenerational support communities, helping loved ones adopt new technology that may improve their lives, and thriving together online.
    Extreme North - A Cultural History
    Scholars and laymen alike have long projected their fantasies onto the great expanse of the global North, whether it be as a frozen no-man's-land, an icy realm of marauding Vikings, or an unspoiled cradle of prehistoric human life. Bernd Brunner reconstructs the encounters of adventurers, colonists, and indigenous communities that led to the creation of a northern "cabinet of wonders" and imbued Scandinavia, Iceland, and the Arctic with a perennial mystique.
    Like the mythological sagas that inspired everyone from Wagner to Tolkien, Extreme North explores both the dramatic vistas of the Scandinavian fjords and the murky depths of a Western psyche obsessed with Nordic whiteness. In concise but thoroughly researched chapters, Brunner highlights the cultural and political fictions at play from the first "discoveries" of northern landscapes and stories, to the eugenicist elevation of the "Nordic" phenotype (which in turn influenced America's limits on immigration), to the idealization of Scandinavian social democracy as a post-racial utopia. Brunner traces how crackpot Nazi philosophies that tied the "Aryan race" to the upper latitudes have influenced modern pseudoscientific fantasies of racial and cultural superiority the world over.
