Synopsis

🌽 When elderly farmer Jed McCropsy is found dead at the base of his family's historic grain silo, the peaceful farming community of Harvest Hollow is shaken to its roots. The police rule it a tragic accident, but Jed's granddaughter, city-slicker-turned-organic-farmer Clara McCropsy, knows her grandfather would never be so careless around farm equipment. Digging into the case with help from her loyal farmhand and a handsome agricultural extension agent, Clara uncovers a silo full of secrets. From disputed property lines and genetically modified seed controversies to a decades-old feud with the neighboring farm family, every corner of the county holds potential motives. But when Clara discovers a hidden compartment in the silo containing old love letters and a mysterious land deed, she realizes Jed's death is connected to a secret that's been buried since the 1970s. With harvest season approaching and a corporate farm trying to buy out the local families, Clara must separate the wheat from the chaff to find the truth before the killer decides one McCropsy death isn't enough.
