Teaming up with her weekly knitting circle—a group of sharp-eyed seniors who notice everything—Pearl follows a tangled trail of clues. From dropped stitches that form a coded message to a suspiciously perfect cable knit pattern that doesn't match the victim's skill level, every loop and purl holds a secret. But as Pearl needles her way through the suspects, she uncovers a pattern of corruption that runs deeper than the town's annual sweater competition.
