Summary

Scalping Is Fun!

Part 4: Trading Is Flow Business

Trading profits are not equal on the 20 trading days of each month as a regular office job probably would. Experience shows that the results are asymmetrical in occurrence.

There are days where it runs like clockwork and days on which trading seems to produce only losses. In this fourth installment of the series "Scalping Is Fun!" The Heikin Ashi Trader looks at the right time to trade.

Successful traders know in specifics when not to trade. They focus on the times when market conditions are optimal for them. In order of events, the fun turns by itself, then the success follows suit.

In this state of "flow" discipline, this is easy to achieve. Fast scalping promotes the rapid close of loss positions and the quick takeaway from accrued profits, also of equal importance.

"The more I read the Bible, the more evident it becomes that everything I have ever taught or written about effective leadership over the past 25 years, Jesus did to perfection. He is simply the greatest leadership role model of all time."
Effective leadership—whether on the job, in the community, at church, or in the home—starts on the inside. In this revised classic, renowned leadership expert Ken Blanchard guides you through the process of discovering how to lead like Jesus.
Before you can hope to lead anyone else, you must know who you are. Every leader must answer two critical questions. One deals with your relationship to Christ. The other with your life purpose.Whose are you going to be?Who are you going to be?
Learning to lead like Jesus can be described as the process of aligning two internal domains (the heart and the head) and two external domains (the hands and the habits). These four dimensions of leadership form the outline for this very practical and transformational book, from which you will learn how to:Integrate your faith with your role and responsibility as a leaderIdentify your prioritiesBuild your relationship with God in a new and personal wayMove from success to significanceLead out of service rather than self-interestPut the love of Jesus into action
With simple yet profound principles from the life of Jesus, and dozens of stories and leadership examples from his own life, Ken Blanchard once again shows us the way effective leaders lead.

Stop Playing Safe speaks to the heart of what holds people back in their professional lives, making the sharp distinction between knowing what to do, and having the courage to do it. In explaining why playing safe can be a high-risk strategy, it provides a framework to meet the challenges of the pressure-laden workplace that can so easily siphon passion from employees, disconnecting them from themselves and from the intrinsic value of what they do each day. It includes the insights and experiences of high profile leaders and entrepreneurs who have achieved outstanding success in their professional lives, and what they did (and didn't do) that made the difference as they forged their own path forward.Broken into two sections, the first section "Core Courage" is focused on building the foundation for courageous action. The second section "Courage in Action" is broken into five core courage challenges: Challenge, Speak, Adapt, Leverage, and Lead. Each chapter contains proven "how to" strategies the reader can apply to better assess risk, leverage their strengths, manage conflict, be decisive amidst uncertainty, be a catalyst for change in their organization, and expand their network of influence.
