Summary

Forex Trading

Two round number strategies

Currency markets are known to be dominated by news. But since news is rare, most currency pairs move sideways 80% of the time. In other words, it is very difficult to trade forex profitably with trend strategies. This series about forex trading therefore deals with strategies designed specifically for sideways markets.

The "round number" in forex is an interesting phenomenon because mostly a lot of orders are waiting here to be executed. Those who study the charts of currency pairs will find that the market often turns at this so-called "round number" and at least temporarily begins to run in the other direction.

In this first short ebook, Heikin Ashi Trader introduces two simple round number forex strategies. They are easy to understand and easy to implement (even with small accounts). These two strategies are excellent for traders who are looking for forex strategies that can be successfully traded with little analysis.

IF YOU'RE TIRED OF REJECTION, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. Whether you are a novice writer or a veteran who has already had your work published, rejection is often a frustrating reality. Literary agents and editors receive and reject hundreds of manuscripts each month. While it's the job of these publishing professionals to be discriminating, it's the job of the writer to produce a manuscript that immediately stands out among the vast competition. And those outstanding qualities, says New York literary agent Noah Lukeman, have to be apparent from the first five pages. The First Five Pages reveals the necessary elements of good writing, whether it be fiction, nonfiction, journalism, or poetry, and points out errors to be avoided, such as * A weak opening hook* Overuse of adjectives and adverbs* Flat or forced metaphors or similes* Melodramatic, commonplace or confusing dialogue* Undeveloped characterizations and lifeless settings* Uneven pacing and lack of progression With exercises at the end of each chapter, this invaluable reference will allow novelists, journalists, poets and screenwriters alike to improve their technique as they learn to eliminate even the most subtle mistakes that are cause for rejection. The First Five Pages will help writers at every stage take their art to a higher -- and more successful -- level.

How Charts Lie - Getting Smarter...

We've all heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what if we don't understand what we're looking at? Social media has made charts, infographics, and diagrams ubiquitous—and easier to share than ever. We associate charts with science and reason; the flashy visuals are both appealing and persuasive. Pie charts, maps, bar and line graphs, and scatter plots (to name a few) can better inform us, revealing patterns and trends hidden behind the numbers we encounter in our lives. In short, good charts make us smarter—if we know how to read them.

However, they can also lead us astray. Charts lie in a variety of ways—displaying incomplete or inaccurate data, suggesting misleading patterns, and concealing uncertainty—or are frequently misunderstood, such as the confusing cone of uncertainty maps shown on TV every hurricane season. To make matters worse, many of us are ill-equipped to interpret the visuals that politicians, journalists, advertisers, and even our employers present each day, enabling bad actors to easily manipulate them to promote their own agendas.

In How Charts Lie, data visualization expert Alberto Cairo teaches us to not only spot the lies in deceptive visuals, but also to take advantage of good ones to understand complex stories.

Book summary by Loudly, this is an abridged version of the original title

The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the Code to Wealth and Live Rich for a Lifetime! is a self-help audiobook that challenges traditional approaches to achieving financial freedom. It presents three distinct paths to wealth: the "Sidewalk," where people remain financially stagnant, the "Slowlane," which is the conventional approach of saving and waiting for retirement, and the "Fastlane," a strategy focused on rapid wealth creation through entrepreneurship and innovative business practices.

This audiobook argues that the traditional "Slowlane" method—working a 9-to-5 job and saving small amounts over decades—does not lead to true financial independence. Instead, it promotes the "Fastlane," a more accelerated approach that involves building scalable businesses, creating value, and leveraging time and resources to generate exponential financial growth.

With practical tips, real-world examples, and a motivational tone, it encourages listeners to rethink their financial strategies and take action to achieve wealth more quickly and effectively. Perfect for those looking to escape the traditional rat race and unlock new ways to reach their financial goals faster.
