Summary

A trio of magical children's stories, starring a precocious 10-year-old Japanese boy, Toshi, who lives with his wise grandmother, Obaachan in rural Japan. His adventures take him into the world of Nature spirits, the Obon festival of ancestors, and the challenge of being an orphan. Two of the three stories finished in the top 10 of entrants to the annual Writer's Union of Canada children's story competition.
