The major work of Rabbi Moses Almosnino (1515-1580), “Conduct of Life,” remains to this day an essential reference in classical Judeo-Spanish literature, now finally available in English in its first translation. First published in Ladino in 1564 as, Sefer Hanhagat hahayim and in 1729 as “Regimiento de la vida”, this three-volume edition is part of the prestigious collection Veritas è terra orietur. The work aims to disseminate the timeless teachings of ethics, in the words of the author: “In all that has been said, my intention is only to make you understand how the one who follows the path of virtue and customs of practising good and pure knowledge since childhood, lives a happy and fulfilled life (Volume 1, chapter 2)” The third volume deals with justice (Volume 3, chapters 1-3) and friendship (chapters 4-8 and 13), love (chapter 9), the five intellectual virtues: understanding, science, wisdom, prudence, and art (chapter 10-11), and the learning of sciences as a path to virtue (chapter 12). This work presents itself as a pedagogical endeavor, intended to provide advice for leading a virtuous life.“Conduct of Life” draws heavily from the Nicomachean Ethics but transcends this source by situating itself at the universal intersection of several traditions: Greco-Arabic philosophy, Judeo-Christian scholasticism, classical Sephardic Judaism, and medieval Jewish thought. Thus, this work contributes to peace and intercultural understanding among peoples.

She faked an engagement to save our business. I kissed her to sell it. Now I just have to survive pretending not to be in love with her. When I came home from deployment, I expected to pick up a shovel, not a fiancée. Tate Cavanaugh is my best friend. The woman I trust with my life. The one who helped build our landscaping business from the ground up. And apparently, while I was gone, she told the local paper we were engaged. It was just supposed to help with PR. She didn't think the story would take off. She definitely didn't think the whole town would throw us an engagement party. And me? I didn't think I'd kiss her in front of everyone just to make it look real.Only . . . that kiss didn't feel fake. Not to me.Now we're living under the same roof, pretending to be planning a wedding, and I'm trying not to fall harder than I already have. She's everything I never let myself want—funny, stubborn, generous, and so far out of my league I should have deployed again just to get my head on straight. But Tate's not the only one hiding something. And if this fake engagement blows up in our faces, I could lose a whole lot more than my business. I could lose her.

Confessions of Beau the Gardener – England Late 1970's
    Book 2 of 6 – The Politician's Wife
    Music Extended Version
The summary of the second book in the series is as follows:
In 1981, Beau’s gardening business thrives thanks to Lady Eleanor’s recommendation. He’s hired by Cynthia Fairchild, the elegant but lonely wife of a Conservative MP, to restore her neglected rose garden. As they work together, Cynthia reveals her stifled ambitions and loveless marriage, and their professional bond deepens into a passionate affair. Their secret is threatened when Richard’s ambitious young intern, Sophia, arrives—flirtatious, cunning, and suspicious of their closeness. Amidst stolen moments in the garden pavilion, Cynthia realizes their relationship endangers Beau’s future. When Sophia is caught scheming and dismissed, Cynthia resolves to reclaim her independence, ending their affair before it destroys them. She gifts Beau rare gardening books as a farewell, leaving for France with plans to rebuild her life. Beau departs, carrying lessons of love, loss, and the courage to grow beyond imposed boundaries—ready for the next garden, and the next chapter.
The initial opening credit music is “Boy, you've got it”, which does run to approximately 3 minutes plus and the “customer” is hungry for his presence. The closing music, “Same time next week, ends the story with a cheerful optimism, I am coming back don't worry absence makes the heart grow fonder and release then is so much sweeter.
The story and music itself runs to just over 1 hour and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come

Under the aurora veil of Borealis, where northern shamans chant rites to spectral lights and ice phoenixes incarnate in crystalline rebirth, shaman Kael performs a passionate ritual that summons Fenira, the phoenix spirit whose frozen flames yearn for mortal warmth. Their rite, veiled in auroral dances, thaws the north's eternal ice—or awakens slumbering blizzards of vengeance. As they trek aurora-lit tundras and phoenix-nested fjords, pursued by spirit wardens and rival shamans, Kael's chants entwine with Fenira's icy blaze, unveiling a boreal prophecy of veiled union. When a veil-tearing storm unleashes frost ghouls, they must complete the rite to seal the worlds. In the shimmer of auroral passions, where every light weaves fate and every flame chills the soul, their love becomes the veil that guards Borealis's hidden fire.
