Deborah Jane Trimmer (September 30, 1921 - October 16, 2007), known professionally as Deborah Kerr, was a British actress who was nominated six times for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Kerr was known for her roles as elegant, ladylike but also sexually repressed women who deeply yearn for sexual freedom.
