  Minority Report is a 2002 science fiction thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, set in a dystopian future where a specialized police unit, PreCrime, prevents crimes before they occur. The story follows John Anderton, the head of PreCrime, who is accused of a future murder and becomes a fugitive.
