Summary

The Power of Godly Endurance is a book you can- not ignore to read! It will bring you into realms of divine fellowship with God. Whether in Africa, Australia, Asia, South America, Europe, North America or the USA, no child of God should ever neglect the need to endure hardship. If you and I think endurance is for pastors, bishops, and apostles only, then you have just missed it. I believe endurance is part and parcel of the Kingdom of God. You can’t be a Christian soldier in Christ Jesus and know nothing about endurance.

Many people, even Christians, want shortcuts to life, hence life has cut them short. Beloved, it will always take the test of endurance to arrive at your God-ordained destiny. God must test you before He can trust you with whatever He has prepared for you. Hence, don’t get mad at Him when He tests your faith and loyalty to Him. Besides. Jesus once said in Scripture that only those who shall endure up to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 24:12-13). I believe that is a serious conversation on God’s divine calendar, worthy of honour.

"LET US MAKE MAN ACCORDING TO OUR IMAGE" — Why Does Satan Hate Mankind? – with Robert Mandelbaum"The ancient pseudepigraphal text of "The Life of Adam and Eve" reveals that Satan was hurled out of Heaven for refusing to worship God's Image, thus igniting the Devil's unrelenting hostilities and hatred of God's crowning creation: Humans! Eschatologist Robert Mandelbaum skillfully exposes the correlation and cataclysmic battle royale between the Image of God and the Last Days' image of the Antichrist! Supported by strong, Scriptural circumstantial evidence, discover mankind's monumental importance to the triumphant fulfillment of God's Plan for the world and the universe!Scriptures referred to in this interview:Hebrews 1:16; 1Cor.6:1-3; Gen.1:26-27; Exo.20:2-5; Mat.25:34-40; 1Cor.6:19; 1Cor.15:49; 1John 3:2Excerpt read from "The Life of Adam and Eve". Chapters X1-XIIAnd she (Eve) cried out and said: 'Woe unto thee, thou devil. Why dost thou attack us for no cause? What hast thou to do with us? What have we done to thee for thou pursuest us with craft? Or why doth thy malice assail us? Have we taken away thy glory and caused thee to be without honour? Why dost thou harry us, thou enemy (and persecute us) to the death in wickedness and envy'?And with a heavy sigh, the devil spake: 'O Adam! all my hostility, envy, and sorrow is for thee, since it is for thee that I have been expelled from my glory, which I possessed in the heavens in the midst of the angels and for thee was I cast out in the earth.' Adam answered, 'What dost thou tell me? What have I done to thee or what is my fault against thee? Seeing that thou hast received no harm or injury from us, why dost thou pursue us'? The devil replied, 'Adam, what dost thou tell me? It is for thy sake that I have been hurled from that place. When thou wast formed. I was hurled out of the presence of God and banished from the company of the angels. When God blew into thee the breath of life and thy face and likeness was made in the image of God, Michael also brought thee and made (us) worship thee in the sight of God; and God the Lord spake: Here is Adam. I have made thee in our image and likeness.' And Michael went out and called all the angels saying: 'Worship the image of God as the Lord God hath commanded.' And Michael himself worshipped first; then he called me and said: 'Worship the image of God. the Lord.' And I answered, 'I have no (need) to worship Adam.' And since Michael kept urging me to worship, I said to him, 'Why dost thou urge me? I will not worship an inferior and younger being (than I). I am his senior in the Creation, before he was made was I already made. It is his duty to worship me.' When the angels, who were under me, heard this, they refused to worship him. And Michael saith, 'Worship the image of God, but if thou wilt not worship him, the Lord God will be wrath with thee.' And I said, 'If He be wrath with me, I will set my seat above the stars of heaven and will be like the Highest.' And God the Lord was wrath with me and banished me and my angels from our glory; and on thy account were we expelled from our abodes into this world and hurled on the earth. And straightway we were overcome with grief, since we had been spoiled of so great glory. And we were grieved when we saw thee in such joy and luxury. And with guile I cheated thy wife and caused thee to be expelled through her (doing) from thy joy and luxury, as I have been driven out of my glory.

Help for those struggling with perfectionism and guilt in their Christian walk. Many Christians, often without even realizing it, struggle with a type of Christian perfectionism. We strive to please God but are plagued with anxiety about making mistakes. We want to do God’s will but live with a self-berating inner voice even as we seek to serve him. We sincerely believe the gospel and love Jesus but struggle with never feeling good enough before God. How can Christians wholeheartedly pursue God without an undercurrent of guilt, fear, or anxiety? How can imperfect people experience God's peace while seeking to obey his perfect standards? Author Faith Chang addresses the struggles of her fellow "Christian perfectionists" through meditations on God’s character. With nuance and care, she writes for those who seek to grow in Christ and live for God’s glory yet live in fear of failure. She explores the Bible to show that as God deals with us as in-process people, he is far more merciful, righteous, and patient than we may have imagined. As we consider how he interacts bountifully with us, the weary and scrupulous Christian perfectionist will be freed to pursue God while experiencing his love and peace. There are prayers between each chapter for specific situations Christian perfectionists face, such as “A Prayer for When You Feel You’re a Fake.” Reflection questions are included for those reading the book in small groups or one on one.
