Summary

Yuri Ho wanted nothing but a peaceful life, but now a future as a military commander and provincial ruler seems unavoidable. Following his humiliation of a political rival to ensure his father would become the head of the Ho family, it’s assumed that the father is merely keeping the seat warm for his son. Now at just ten years old, Yuri has to prepare himself for his impending great responsibilities by attending the Knight Academy—a prestigious school where anyone seeking to serve as a military officer in the Shiyalta Kingdom must train. As Yuri attempts to navigate the academy’s odd systems and strange traditions, he soon encounters the kingdom’s first princess, Carol Flue Shaltl. Strong-willed and principled, she takes offense to Yuri’s apathy and makes herself his rival, much to his dismay. But when Yuri is center of attention in a school of would-be warriors, his run-in with Princess Carol is far from his last violent encounter.

A village in Cornwall is thrown into turmoil after a young girl falls from a train to her death. Was this an accident? Or murder? The mystery deepens when clues link the girl to a double homicide committed ten years earlier. Braddon's sensational novel takes us to the estates of aristocrats, the haunts of tabloid writers, the homes of Bohemian artists, and the dark alleyways of Paris. Braddon, one of Victorian England's best-selling novelists, is at the height of her powers in Wyllard's Weird. The novel shakes the foundations of 19th-century social order as it questions the sanctity of marriage and exposes the vices hidden beneath masks of gentility. First published in 1885, Wyllard's Weird has been for too long either out of print or available only in expensive facsimile editions. The novel holds an important place in literary history as it forecasts the appearance of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in 1886 and Sherlock Holmes in 1887.

‘Book of 19 Nocturnes’ is an inter-genre fantasy. The phantasmagorical tale follows the wandering mind and feet of a woman made of wood, named Book, who befriends other monsters as she navigates a lonely, labyrinthine realm. Set in the forests and mountains of a world where the sun never rises, Book’s story unfolds with a surrealistic, dream-logic.
Defying easy categorization, this audio-drama is akin to an illuminated manuscript or a grimoire—a magical book. It blends elements of graphic novels, dream diaries, field journals, prose poetry and illustrated fairy tales. Night-owl / artist / author Jim Holyoak wrote and drew the book over 19+ years, often during his perambulations in the wilds of Scandinavia, British Columbia, and the Himalayas. It is best listened to over the course of 19 nights.
For fans of authors like: William Blake, Haruki Murakami, Ursula K. Le Guin, Tove Jansson, Tim Burton, and Terry Pratchett's radio-dramas. Also available for purchase is a 500-page, fully illustrated, e-book version of 'Book of 19 Nocturnes,' (which is best viewed in colour on an iPad or larger).

"A Decision That Can Change the Fate of a Nation… But Can He Stop Himself from Changing?"
An honest judge, whose every verdict was as firm as stone, now stands at the crossroads of the toughest decision of his life. A man who has spent his entire life upholding truth and justice now faces not only political pressure but also a challenge from within his own family. The very morality he once took pride in has now become his greatest test.
When he exposes electoral fraud, his ruling sends shockwaves through the corridors of power, making him the biggest enemy of corrupt politicians. But the greatest betrayal comes not from the outside, but from his own home―his family, whom he always sought to protect, now compels him to accept bribes and compromise with power.
Now, the system offers him the highest position in the country―on one condition: he must abandon his principles. With pressure mounting from all sides―politics, the system, and his own family―he must make a choice.

And his friend, Joe Bennett, does too. They both have small bladders but more often it’s just to get a moment of quiet, a break from work, or because it’s the only way they know how to politely end conversations. So they created a functional meditative guide to help people who suffer from social anxiety and deal with it in this very particular way. Although, it’s a comedic audiobook, the goal is to help these listeners:1. Relax2. Recharge3. Rejoin the world outside of the bathroomIt’s also fun entertainment for people simply hiding in the bathroom to avoid doing work.A Bathroom Book for People Not Pooping or Peeing But Using the Bathroom as an Escape is for anxious listeners looking to feel calm, confident, and less alone.A Macmillan Audio production from Forge Books“Nothing says ‘class’ to your dinner guests more than a Joe Pera book next to the can.” —Seth Meyers“A beautiful and funny book about something I have done all my life. A charming mystery story set in the early 1900s which is as much about the townspeople, sleuths and other colorful characters as it is about the murder. Filled with comic antics of Scotland Yard fellows, local police, and residents of the town, keeps the murder ever elusive. The "whodunit" is maintained until the very end and the laughter keeps going even after the mystery is solved.
