"Slave Life in Virginia and Kentucky: Fifty Years of Slavery in the Southern States of America: by Francis Fedric is the powerful story of a man enslaved in the US south. In this bundle of audiobooks, you will get the following topics:
1 - It’s a hard name to pronounce, but hey, it’s been the legend of Native American peoples for centuries. Was it a man? Was it a god? Was it a white person? Or was it some animal or strange thing? Quetzalcoatl is an Aztec divine being whose name originates from the Nahuatl language and meaning "valuable snake" or "Quetzal-feathered Snake."
2 - The cult image, female divine being, and folk saint Nuestra Seora de la Santa Muerte (Spanish meaning: Our Woman of the Holy Death) is a cult image, female divine being, and folk saint in Mexican Neopaganism and folk Catholicism.
3 - Topics such as these will be addressed:
    The beginnings of the Mayans.
Human sacrifice, temples, sites, and religious principles in the Maya culture.
    The Mayan culture and society.
    The role of Maya women.
The ancient ruins that can be visited by tourists today.
4 - When you think of the Aztecs, you might think of certain movies you have seen or what you've been taught in history class. And although some of those images and descriptions fit the main narrative, there is still much left to be discovered. This brief book will take you on a journey and kidnap your imagination to a faraway place in time.
5 - Although not really Mexican, this bonus book gives you more insight into ancient American civilizations, in this case, the Inca society. The Inca empire was vast and massive. Yet, still so few people know much about it, aside from what they've heard from vague rumors. But did you know the Inca people showed various similarities to those who came from the Middle East? Did you know that they mummified their dead and built pyramids?

The Jacobites conjure up many images to 21st century Britons, including romantic heroism, the Outlander series, and Bonnie Prince Charlie as the doomed hero of the cause, but Jacobitism was a cause that had far reaching consequences across 18th century Europe. The Jacobites were not only supporters of the exiled Stuart monarchy, but also against the political and religious settlements agreed to across the British Isles. As Jacobite historians such as Daniel Szechi and Frank McLynn have noted, the specter of the Jacobite threat was present for the British government and monarchy in their dealings with European powers throughout the 18th century.[1] This was especially true in France, the country that supported the exiled Stuarts and gave them a home until 1714. This soured the French monarchy’s relationship with Britain, and the Hanoverian kings who replaced the Stuarts were always aware of French and Spanish attempts to return the British throne to the Catholic Stuarts.
The Jacobite court in exile regularly issued propaganda detailing the policies they would enact if restored, and this often reflected the agitations of anyone opposed to the political status quo in Britain at any given time. The Jacobites after 1707 in Scotland were often associated with the repeal of the Treaty of Union, mostly as that coincided with popular opinion. Szechi has noted over the years that Jacobitism was fairly politically radical in its objectives, from religious toleration to freely elected Parliaments and curbs on political corruption.[2] The restoration of the Stuarts would also have seen a return to multi-kingdom monarchy in Britain and Ireland, and it would have changed the European alliances which were forged in the many wars fought during this period.
Given all that, it’s no surprise the Jacobites continue to interest so many people, as do the plot twists, near misses, and “what-ifs” involved.

Empress Wu Zetian (624-705 AD) was the only woman to be the sovereign ruler of imperial China. A teenage concubine of the Tang Emperor Taizong, she seduced his son while the emperor lay dying. Recalled from a nunnery as part of an intricate court power-game, she caused the deaths of two lady rivals, before securing her enthronement as the Emperor Gaozong's consort. She ruled in the name of her husband and two eldest sons, presiding over the pinnacle of the Silk Road, before proclaiming herself the founder of a new dynasty. Worshipped as the Sage Mother of Mankind and reviled as the Treacherous Fox, she was deposed aged 79, after angry courtiers murdered her two young lovers. The subject of countless books, plays, and films, Empress Wu remains a feminist icon and a bugbear of Chinese conservatism. Jonathan Clements weighs the evidence of her life and legacy: so charismatic that she could rise from nothing to the height of medieval power, so hated that her own children left her tombstone blank.
