Owen Campbell loves his wife, Diana, to the moon and back. That’s why he went all out in throwing her a retirement party for her to celebrate her thirty years as an elementary school teacher. He even rented a snazzy hotel function room to accommodate dozens of her friends and coworkers.

    If only…

If only he could help Diana with her “problem.” Ever since she was a teen, when she loused up at a piano recital, she has suffered from stage-fright to such a degree that it impacts her entire life. Even in the bedroom, Diana has never been able to fully offer her body to Owen beyond basic under-the-covers-lights-out lovemaking.

And even today, at her own party, she’s sweating bullets standing in the front of the room as her principal lavishes praise after praise upon her. When she returns to their table, she looks even worse.

    Poor Diana.

But when she suddenly doubles over in pain, Owen realizes that this isn’t just stage-fright working here. She needs help right away. Thankfully, the hotel has a staff physician who hurries in and takes charge.

Oh, this belligerent Russian, Dr. Ivanov, takes charge all right! Showing no respect whatsoever for her modesty, he proceeds to examine her right there…in a roomful of her guests!

And this examination is quite unclothed and quite intimate!

Now, Owen has a dilemma: Feel terrible that his wife is being put through humiliation on an almost incomprehensible scale. Or…

Feel intense jealousy that this doctor is being allowed to do things to Diana that he would never have been allowed to do. Or…

Feel more aroused than he’s ever felt in his life as Diana’s body becomes increasingly exposed and flagrantly explored!

    Poor Diana—she is so embarrassed.

    Poor Owen—he is so confused.

Not to worry. Later on, Owen figures out a way to parlay Diana’s dehumanizing experience into the thrill of his life! And Diana’s, too!

A wounded Marine returns to Hawthorne Harbor years after the woman he was married to for exactly one week before she got an annulment...and then a baby nine months later. Can Hunter and Alice make a family out of past heartache?
Hunter Magleby hasn't been back to Hawthorne Harbor in nine years. His parents have moved from the small beach town, but Hunter feels called to return to his roots after a career-ending injury overseas. He limps, literally, back into town, some unfinished business between him and the wife he left all those years ago.
Alice Kopp got an annulment only a week into the marriage, and she hasn't heard from Hunter since. She sees him almost every day though, when she looks into her son's eyes, so much like his father's. Yes, Westin is a spitting image of Hunter, and Alice dreads the day she'll have to introduce the two of them, because Hunter will be furious with her.
When Hunter goes to the hospital for his physical therapy appointment, he runs into Alice, who works as a nurse in the NICU. She's eating lunch with her son, and when her mother shows up to pick up the boy so Alice can go back to work, it becomes a jolly good family reunion.
Hunter just didn't realize he was part of the family.
He's furious with Alice but also desperate to get to know the son he didn't know he had. As he battles his war injury, his depression, and his anger with Alice, only two things calms him: his therapy dog and his son. The more time he spends with Westin, the more he has to see Alice too, and the old flame that was there almost a decade ago is still burning brightly.
Will the day he came home open a new door for Hunter and Alice to find a way to forgive one another and build a family with their son?

Charlotte Kingsley loves to write and dreams of having her reimagined fairy tales published, but she keeps getting rejected over and over. And to top it all off, her best friend, Anders, gets engaged, making her realize she’s going to lose the Prince Charming who lives next door. After yet another rejection letter, Charlotte decides to switch gears. What if she wrote a book about celebrating women for who they really are instead of trying to create a fantasy world for them to visit? She could call it The Cinderella Fiction, fill it with practical advice for living authentically, become ridiculously successful, and then find the confidence to tell Anders how she feels before it’s too late.
Encouraged with her plan, Charlotte’s new book practically writes itself, and a small publisher offers to publish it. As it’s a small company with limited resources, Charlotte decides to sink money into hiring a premier publicity firm to make her book a bestseller. She also discovers that Anders has called off his engagement and wants to try a relationship with Charlotte. Suddenly her fairy tale dreams seem to be coming true.
However, Charlotte’s publicist has very specific ideas about how to market the book—and the author. Charlotte, with her average looks, cluttered apartment, and penchant for ice cream, must undergo a total transformation in a social media makeover. People who see Charlotte through a carefully curated Instagram account will relate and naturally want to buy her book.
At first, Charlotte is excited to enter this fantasy world and play “dress up,” and Anders reluctantly agrees to go along with it, even though it means he’s largely out of the picture. But the toll of her new life soon proves exhausting. Telling women to “be authentic” even while she herself is undergoing elaborating staging to get just the right image makes her feel like a fraud. Meanwhile, her relationship with Anders is falling apart, since he suspects their relationship is just another one of her carefully curated images.
Charlotte must decide what she believes in: the fairy tale persona or the woman Anders has always loved—before he’s gone forever.

‘I don’t pretend to know the details of your private life, Miss Fairfax, but you might do better to embrace the fortunate position into which you were born, rather than regret the one that only exists between the covers of a novel’
Miss Phoebe Fairfax dreams of being as free as her four brothers. When she discovers she is to be wed to a repugnant earl who is old enough to be her grandfather, she decides to embark on a real adventure…
Enter the insufferable – and insufferably gorgeous – Viscount Damerel.
