Sinopsis

When the king ordered the assassination of all the magic-users in the Wizard Conclave, Sandraste was lucky to escape with her life. Not wanting to just survive, the only thing to do was to gather power the only way she knew, with sex and magic.

Turning to the orc tribes she used her body to seduce the leaders and her magic to start to conquer the North. Perversion and risk were the only things that mattered to her now.

Sandraste has a plan. It involves sex, orcs, and magic. She’ll need all three to take the power she wants.

Sandraste watched the young woman with Ganmilton. The woman—almost a girl but Ganmilton wasn’t that vile—was rather attractive and Sandraste couldn’t decide if she was a hired whore, an apprentice Ganmilton was interviewing, or just a random girl from the village that served the Wizard Conclave. It wouldn’t be the first time a member of the conclave had seduced a villager.

The girl’s body was youthful and lean. Her skin was fair and unblemished and she had light brown hair that framed her face that was currently twisted by the throes of ecstasy. Was the girl so easily pleased by the lazy lovemaking of the wizard or was she just a very good actress? Sandraste suspected the latter for she had shared Ganmilton’s bed and had never been impressed by his lovemaking skills.

His magical skills however…

The narrator of Hogg is a Huck Finn–like youngster caught in society’s most sinister seams—but unlike Huck, he passes no moral judgments on the violence he takes part in . . .Hogg is the story of a man—a depraved trucker named Franklin Hargus, whom the people he works for call Hogg—and of the nameless boy who tells the story of three days of unspeakable sexual violence and devastation, which, together, they initiate in a small seaside American city in the middle of the last century. Hogg is a towering brute who makes his living as a rapist for hire. By the end of a series of vicious attacks, kidnappings, and mass murders, the reader will wonder who is more corrupt: the man or the boy.   Samuel R. Delany completed his first draft of Hogg within a day, if not within hours, of the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City and revised it over the next four years, though it was not released until 1995.

After the death of her husband, Miriam retreats into the quiet rhythm of quiltmaking and life on the farm. Each stitch is a thread of memory, a safeguard against a world that has taken too much. Her days are measured in silence—safe, predictable, untouched by risk.

    Then Levi returns.

Her late husband’s cousin, long absent from the community, arrives to help with the harvest. He brings quiet strength, gentle hands, and a past that lingers like unfinished seams. Miriam never asked for company, especially not from someone who once cared too much, too silently.

Levi has carried his own burden of guilt for years. His feelings for Miriam were always hidden, always wrong. But now, as autumn settles in and hours are shared between fences, fields, and fading light, something stirs again—soft, tentative, undeniable.

In a world stitched by grief and custom, can two hearts find the courage to create something new from the silence between stitches?
