Summary

"Our objective is complete freedom, justice and equality by any means necessary." – Malcolm X

At the height of the Civil Rights Movement, while much of the nation’s attention was given to peaceful protests, boycotts, and figures like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr., a young man named Malcolm Little was rising through the ranks to become one of the leaders of the Nation of Islam. As Malcolm X, he would come to be one of the most controversial figures in 20th century America, hailed as a bold civil rights activist by some and reviled as a violent racist by others.

What everyone can agree on, however, is that Malcolm X was one of the most influential black leaders of the 20th century. After being imprisoned for crimes committed as a teenager, Malcolm X converted to Islam and joined the Nation of Islam while in jail. Once he was freed in 1952, he began a steady ascent to become the face of the Nation, a platform from which he gained notoriety for advocating the Nation’s teachings about black supremacy. Whereas Dr. King was pushing for fuller integration and desegregation, X and the Nation of Islam advocated total separation. Other Civil Rights organizations deemed X and the Nation to be too extremist, and in response X labeled them “stooges”.

Today, one of the best known aspects of Malcolm X’s life was his assassination in 1965 by members of the Nation of Islam following his split from the group over differences with leader Elijah Muhammad. In addition to making a pilgrimage to Mecca, X continued to be politically active, founding a number of groups and speaking to many more in an attempt to heighten political awareness. Over the last two years of his life, he faced several threats from the Nation of Islam, which culminated with his assassination on February 21, 1965, as he was addressing the Organization of Afro-American Unity in Manhattan's Audubon Ballroom.

Any Means Necessary: The Life and Legacy of Malcolm X looks at the turbulent life and legacy of the famous leader, while humanizing the man and discussing lesser known facts about him, including how he chose the name Malcolm X, and whether he was advocating more peaceful protest at the end of his life. Along with pictures of important people, places, and events in his life, you will learn about Malcolm X like you never have before, in no time at all.

This audiobook helps to be more productive in a world of distraction.WHAT YOU GET:A powerful resource to get stuff done, become more creative, and live a meaningful life. Our attention has never been as overwhelmed as it is today. Many of us recognize that our brains struggle to multitask. Despite this, we feel compelled to do so anyway while we fill each moment of our lives to the brim with mindless distraction. This audiobook provides tools how you can best take charge of your attention to achieve a greater sense of purpose and productivity throughout the day. The most recent neuroscientific research reveals that our brain has two powerful modes that can be unlocked when we use our attention effectively: a focused mode (hyperfocus), which is the foundation for being highly productive, and a creative mode (scatterfocus), which enables us to connect ideas in novel ways. This unique audiobook helps you access each of the two mental modes so you can concentrate more deeply, think more clearly, and work and live more deliberately every day.Use the power of sound and improve your focus like never before. Several scientific studies have shown that certain sounds can put our brains into a highly relaxed and creative state using audio resonance. Here is a simple example: When you strike a tuning fork and then place another one next to it, the second tuning fork automatically begins to vibrate at exactly the same frequency. That's exactly what happens with BRAIN ENTRAINMENT, based on the principle of audio resonance. We stimulate our brainwaves with a low fundamental frequency - for better results when creating, focusing, studying and learning.Ready to move yourself in the right direction? Listen to the frequency based binaural soundscapes right now, and benefit from this system of creating your focus - and finding success. HEADPHONES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEST RESULTS!

"The Birth of Tragedy or Hellenism and Pessimism" is a seminal work by the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, first published in 1872. In this book, Nietzsche explores the origins and essence of Greek tragedy, arguing that it emerged from the fusion of two artistic principles: the Apollonian, representing order, rationality, and beauty; and the Dionysian, representing chaos, intoxication, and ecstasy. He contrasts these concepts with the rationality of Socratic philosophy and explores the cultural implications of this shift. Nietzsche also introduces the idea of the "Dionysian man," who embraces life's suffering and contradictions with a tragic, yet affirmative, spirit.
