Summary

Sebastian was a man so heinous that mothers would invoke his name to scare their children.  
Guilty of unspeakable crimes during the Holy War, he set out to eradicate the churches in the name of the king in the House of Maine. 
Merciless, unforgiving, and utterly cruel, he was the epitome of evil. 
When it was believed that he had died on the final day of that war, humanity breathed a sigh of relief. 
The House of Maine gave him an honored funeral, and he lies at rest in his grave. 
Or does he? 
Back from the dead after fifteen years, Sebastian is no longer the man everyone once knew. Few people believe his claims that he is now a priest serving the goddess of justice, who has condemned him to eternal damnation for sins he can never make up for. 
But that will not stop him. 
As war rises once more in the land of Ithia, the Bastard of Jilrir now turns his sword against those he once called friends to save the lives of the innocent.
