Genius is often perceived through a narrow lens, typically defined by extraordinary achievements, groundbreaking discoveries, or exceptional skills. However, this traditional view of genius overlooks many individuals whose brilliance remains hidden from the mainstream. The nature of genius is far more complex and multifaceted than society tends to acknowledge. It exists not only in those who are celebrated publicly but also in those whose contributions go unnoticed or unrecognized due to societal limitations or biases.
At its core, genius is about exceptional intellectual capacity, but this capacity can manifest in many different ways. It is not always about creating world-changing inventions or becoming a famous name. For many, genius lies in quiet innovation, subtle insights, and the ability to solve problems in unique and unconventional ways. It can be seen in the person who finds creative solutions to everyday challenges or in the thinker who makes a significant impact in a specific, narrow field of knowledge, even if that knowledge doesn’t capture the world’s attention.

A Nation with Two Faces: A Brave Nation in the Darkness is a powerful reflection on Afghanistan’s twenty-year war, from the U.S.-led invasion in 2001 to the chaotic withdrawal in 2021.
It explores the rise, fall, and resurgence of the Taliban, revealing the deep political and cultural complexities behind their return. Through the voices of civilians, it documents the immense human cost, loss, displacement, and trauma etched into daily life. The book critically examines foreign interventions, questioning motives beyond the fight against terrorism.
Women’s rights and media narratives are analyzed in contrast with the lived realities of Afghan women. It confronts war crimes, injustice, and the silence around accountability, urging global awareness and responsibility.
Eyewitness memories bring raw emotion and vivid imagery to the chaos, fear, and resilience of Afghan communities. The book remains neutral, prioritizing truth over blame, and focuses on human stories above politics.
It highlights the gap between foreign policies and ground realities, emphasizing cultural misunderstanding.
Each chapter adds depth to the complex puzzle of Afghanistan’s struggle for peace, identity, and sovereignty.
This is not just a story of war, but a call for compassion, justice, and a rethinking of international intervention.
A tribute to the resilience of the Afghan people, the book serves as both a historical record and a message for the future.

Teaching to Live: Black Religion, Activist-Educators, and Radical Social Change interrogates the stories of African American activist-educators whose faith convictions inspired them to educate in radical and transformative ways. Almeda M. Wright explores the connections between religion, education, and struggles for freedom within twentieth-century African American communities by telling the stories of key African American teachers.

Wright brings together the lives and work of three related subgroups of activist-educators: those who worked in public or secular education but were religiously inspired; radical scholars who transformed the ways that Black religion and Black religious life are studied and valued; and radical religious educators, or those educators who were involved more formally with the religious formation of Black people but who regarded this work of spiritual development as part of the struggle for freedom and liberation of all people.

The rich and complex narratives of these educators show how religion, education, and radical social change can intersect. This book invites listeners to continue exploring how these concepts will evolve for future generations of activist-educators.

Infidelity is breaking a promise to remain faithful to a romantic partner, whether that promise was a part of marriage vows, a privately uttered agreement between lovers, or an unspoken assumption. As unthinkable as the notion of breaking such promises may be at the time they are made, infidelity is common, and when it happens, it raises thorny questions: Should you stay? Can trust be rebuilt? Or is there no choice but to pack up and move on?For the adulterer, infidelity can be exciting and seductive, conferring feelings of renewal, rejuvenation, and joy. Infidelity is a betrayal, but it isn’t necessarily the end of love; cheating occurs even in happy relationships. The partner being betrayed may feel confusion, anger, doubt, pain, and heartbreak. Most people know the costs of cheating in a relationship, particularly in a marriage. Betrayal can lead to divorce and parental disruption, and infidelity is a predictor of depression, anxiety, and domestic violence. Yet many stray anyway, prompting the question: Why? In surveys of individuals who have cheated, falling out of love, seeking variety, and feeling neglected were the most commonly cited reasons, followed by situational forces, a desire to raise self-esteem, and anger with a partner.Men have always been more likely than women to cheat, or at least to report having done so, but researchers have noticed a shift in recent years: 16% of adults, about 20% of men, and 13% of women report that they’ve had sex with someone other than their spouse while married. But among adults under 30 who have been married, 11% of women say having committed infidelity, as opposed to 10% of men.The line between innocent flirtation and romantic betrayal is often elastic, and many couples face conflict because partners do not share the same definition of cheating. For some, anything short of sexual contact with someone else is acceptable; for others, any attention to a potential rival is unforgivable. The term “micro-cheating” refers
