Sinopse

When Ezra and Titus come across an old sign indicating the Dupree estate was once an inn, they consider reopening it as The Heart-Shaped Gate Bed and Breakfast. Not long afterwards, they discover someone has already been lodging there, down in the dark, spooky basement.
Ezra wants to turn the trespasser in to authorities, but Titus, still struggling with the past, has a soft spot for the guy who seems lost. Even he has to admit, however, that something about the man's story and odd behavior just doesn't add up. Tales of a past love have a familiar ring, a fictional one, and the man's timeline of events simply doesn't add up barring some sort of paranormal explanation.
Can Titus and Ezra get over the bumps in their relationship? Will the new guy steal Titus away? And if he succeeds, what nefarious fate might he have in mind?

The Last Courtesan was his mother's story. Nautch Boy tells his own.
'A one-of-a-kind book. It takes a ferocious spirit to survive the saddest alleys of the world - and an extraordinary man to narrate it. I consider this book sacred. It is consecrated with my bleeding heart.' - K.R. Meera, Author
'Almost a war, but with a lot of hope. Rekhabai is weak and strong, ferocious and gentle, angry and generous. Manish Gaekwad, with a style as simple as his mother's heart and as complex as her life, has compelled us to read without a break.' - Volga, Author & Activist
'One outstanding book, this. Take a bow.' - Anita Nair, Author

A sweet-faced, quiet boy dressed in matching pink shorts and a top poses demurely for a photograph in a kotha, holding a flower vase with plastic white daisies in it. Powdered, scented women around him sparkle and pirouette like movie stars on the silver screen. The boy looks at them in awe. Will he be able to join them in this evening of glamour and music? When will he become a nautch boy?
His dream is jinxed by his courtesan mother Rekhabai's ambition to secure his future away from every last thing that ties him to the kotha. But can he silence the music in his veins?
Sent off to a boarding school in the hills, the boy learns to balance the two worlds-he can undulate his hips to popular Hindi songs like his mother but also recite by heart the poems of Rossetti and Shelley.
Nautch Boy is Manish Gaekwad's account of being born and raised in a disrespected environment at odds with his privileged education. He finds his vocation as a reporter, screenwriter and a novelist, and eventually replaces that flower vase of fake white daisies with colourful stories of love, laughter and decay from the kothas.

Zephan Amon is a psychic on the run. He comes from a powerful family famous for their wealth, but he cut ties with them over a decade ago. He's not nearly as powerful as they are, and they want him to either hide his existence or change his name, so he doesn't sully their reputation.
Zephan refuses, and he's been perfectly happy living as a human far away from his family, but a series of events have left him jobless and homeless. He's about to work up the courage to ask his sister for help when he's kidnapped by werewolves.
A stroke of luck allows him to escape, but he runs straight into a vampire's garden. The vampire is far more concerned about Zephan trampling on his lawn than he is about kidnappings and werewolves. He demands Zephan pay a toll of blood for the state of his poor, abused grass. A few swallows of blood can't be worse than being recaptured by werewolves, can it?

Ardulum. The planet that vanishes. The planet that sleeps.
Neek makes a living piloting the dilapidated tramp transport, Mercy’s Pledge, and smuggling questionable goods across systems blessed with peace and prosperity. She gets by—but only just. In her dreams, she is still haunted by thoughts of Ardulum, the traveling planet that, long ago, visited her homeworld. The Ardulans brought with them agriculture, art, interstellar technology…then disappeared without a trace, leaving Neek’s people to worship them as gods.
Neek does not believe—and has paid dearly for it with exile from her home for her heretical views.
Yet, when the crew stumbles into an armed confrontation between the sheriffs of the Charted Systems and an unknown species, fate deals Neek an unexpected hand in the form of a slave girl—a child whose ability to telepathically manipulate cellulose is reminiscent of that of an Ardulan god. Forced to reconcile her beliefs, Neek chooses to protect her, but is the child the key to her salvation, or will she lead them all to their deaths?
