Summary

JMS Books' Trios are themed collections of three gay romance stories by a trio of authors. Each story is available separately, but readers can get all three for a discounted bundle price.

Class Acts Volume 1 contains three M/M romances just in time for back to school!
Contains the stories:
Being Fitz by J.D. Walker: Fitz is worn out by users, an unforgiving bus route, and life, in general. When he stumbles over a dead body in the park, things can't seem to get much worse, until he meets Detective Holland Simms. Arrogant and infuriating, Fitz is at once at odds and intrigued by Simms, who seems to be interested in him, surprisingly. Can he make a new start?

Professor Poison by R.W. Clinger: When Niall Reed decides to enroll in a mystery writing college course, his professor is none other than best-selling mystery writer Professor Poison. Things heat up between them, but there's a mysterious man in the professor's life named Collin. As the end of the class approaches, will Niall learn who Collin is, or will he lose Professor Poison to a mysterious stranger?

Substitute Teacher by David Connor and E.F. Mulder: Stone Larrabee knows he can't teach if his students aren't willing to learn. When he meets combative, closed off parent, Edison Watts, he discovers he has some learning to do, as well. In order to learn, one has to be willing to hope, change, and grow, he decides. Getting Edison to do that with him might be a challenge, but Stone knows he's up to it, and Edison agrees to try.

But when someone casts an enchantment on the unsuspecting Adrian, it's up to Nikos to face the magic once more and figure out what's going on with the gorgeous teacher he is so smitten with.

Claire Melbourne is a steely newspaper editor who's just lost the biggest scoop of her career, thanks to her naïve intern's mistake. Firing the young Ellie Kirkland for the offense was a no-brainer.

But when fate brings the two women together again, Claire finds herself questioning everything she thought she was—especially her cynical, take-no-prisoners approach to life. When she's not breaking stories or breaking in reporters, Claire's one outlet is to lose herself in Motown music and in the seat of a cheerful antique Mustang. But lose herself to the much younger, far-too-nice Ellie? There's no breaking news there. Nope. That's a story that needs to be spiked before it ever sees print.

Ellie Kirkland is at loose ends—and not for the first time. Resistant to following the path her parents insist on, she's been trying out careers like she's trying on outfits at Banana Republic. Now that her dream of being a journalist is over, Ellie must begin again. And the woman who crushed that very dream is the very woman who just might hold the key to Ellie's future.

A traumatic experience in high school has him determined to stay celibate in his personal life. However, his resolve is tested when he meets the very sexy and slightly older Gabe Sutton.
Although Gabe is happy in his work as an electrician for the college's Buildings and Grounds crew, he's less happy with his love life. He's had brief flings with a few men, but none have been worth coming out of the closet for. That is, until a new French horn professor joins the faculty.
Though Brent and Gabe are careful not to be seen in public together often, rumors begin to spread, as does a series of electrical failures on work orders Gabe has completed. Someone is out to discredit Gabe, but who? Will these incidents cause the spark of Gabe's and Brent's budding romance to fizzle out, or will exposing the wrongdoer bring their duet into ever closer harmony?

Alex has serious anxiety which make his life a challenge and his dating prospects slim to nonexistent. He assumes Tom isn't interested in him because men never are. With no job and no boyfriend, Justin sees no reason to make a big deal out of Christmas this year, so he plunks down his severance pay on a cottage in the Caribbean and jets away for some Me Time. Not that he'd mind a little Us Time, you understand, but the handsome young islanders of his acquaintance are all friendly, fun, and straight as they come. He sure didn't leave San Diego looking for any middle-aged American gym jock, but when one washes up at his favorite local watering hole, Justin discovers there are worse ways to dance the night away. Too bad the sexy stranger is on a cruise and the next port is calling.
When he spies the ship still in port while he tends to his Christmas Eve hangover, Justin knows he must manage his expectations. Just because the ship's still here doesn't mean the guy will come ashore, and so what if they do cross paths again? Did they really connect as Justin thinks he remembers, or is that just the beer filling in the blanks? He invents an errand, throws on some clothes, and heads for the dock, figuring there's one way to find out.
