Part autobiography, part insight into the power of a unique marketing campaign, part warts and all of living the dream in a dream job. Bens story is more holistic than just travel; its motivational and aspirational. From leaving the UK on an adventure trip to Africa, Ben has led the dream and shows how following your passions can lead to life changing opportunities. No-one else has won the Best Job in the World, and Ben is often asked what is like participating in the competition, winning and living the job and what hes been doing since. This book answers those questions. Key features: Fantasy to reality: Living on a tropical island is a common daydream, Bens story shines the light on the highs and lows of living out the dream. Inspiration: hope for people who are stuck in a rut. Look for opportunities and grab them with both hands. Entertainment/Escape: the book is rich with humorous and poignant stories about the challenges of being catapulted into a high profile job in an idyllic location, and what happens after the best job in the world. Motivational: understand other cultures better, embrace the unknown and overcome lifes obstacles and challenge the expected route through life. Authenticity: the author is the only holder of the title Best Job in the World. It is a unique insight into a unique program and all that that entails. The global attention generated by the unprecedented marketing and advertising campaign also provides an insight into how to successfully engage with a diverse market on an international level. Management and leadership lessons emerge and are shared by Ben as he adapts to his new role, as the caretaker of a Great Barrier Reef Island and subsequently navigates his new career opportunities.

THE NEW KALISHNIKOVS :: AK-47 - aka Drones
This poem is about the new invention in war, of small arms arsenals - The Drone. Coming on the heels of the
former mass produced and used small arm the - Kalashnikov rifle.
The similarities of the AK and Drones, for widespread use are their cheapness to build relative to their
use - cost benefit. Their individual strike and their reliability, and their
    effectiveness.
In all its guises, it represents a new era in remote 'close contact'.
The Drone itself being sent from a remote location and controlled at a remote location,
but the target being an individual, small group or military vehicle like the Tank.
Drones are fast becoming the choice of weapon in the modern age for battlefield contact.
    * Absolutely NO A.I. has been used in the creation of this Poem.
Purely 100% inspirational from the Author. * As for all his poems.*
