Synopsis

Drina skips foreplay when she seduces traitors. Rather, she specializes in deporting them to a prison island in the Adriatic.  
All goes well for the spy until she loses her heart to one of her targets, a man twenty years her junior. He searches the archieves of the secret service and discovers the ugly thruth about the Island of Shame, Goli Otok.  
Exposed as a spy among friends, Drina embarks on a quest for redemption, risking the wrath of her vicious boss. 
Drina, The Spy Who Made Love Twice, is a gripping tale of betrayals and seduction set against the backdrop of violence and repression in post-WW2 Europe. 
Although the story is fictional, the historical context is not. Goli Otok became a gulag after Yugoslavia’s leader Tito had said ‘no’ to Stalin and started imprisoning countrymen suspected of Stalinist sympathies. The prison island existed until 1988, well after his death.   
Packed with romance and action, this historical spy novel takes the reader from the majestic coasts of Croatia and Greece to the vineyards of Provence and the white cliffs of southern England.
