Summary

After the Tithe: the beasts and the offered. 
 
 
 
Within the walls of Ironcross, the Tithed are revered, honored, loved. We will live on forever. That's what the Alders tell us. 
 
 
 
Beyond the walls, we are hunted and imprisoned. If our blood is silk to these monsters, then we are the silkworms, trapped in our gilded cage, crushed beneath their imperial boot, easily replaced. We survive one day at a time, knowing it may be our last. 
 
 
 
Love cost Senna everything. Her heart is stitched together with scars and callouses.
